Oh gosh... are you serious? That evil mother/stepmother is still in here? Ugh. Judging from the outro credit, she's probably going to cause trouble again, isn't she? Not to mention a love triangle too. I can sense future frustrations from this drama for me, while at the same time enjoying our main couple scenes.
Guess I'll have to wait until most of the episodes comes out. On the bright side, looks like Fang Lie finally has his own love interest.
Despite the poor 7.6 rating, as of episode 12 when I'm writing this, I personally like this drama. Sure, there is some annoyance from the love triangle and LXZ being too violent to Lu Tian and it does start off with a misunderstanding that gets clear up soon but other than that, pretty enjoyable to watch for me. This is one of those dramas where you just want something to binge on with no main evil characters, no major drama headaches/frustrations, and gives you a good laugh. I love the clinginess and the sneakiness of Bai Qi Jia and Qin Ge is just a funny character overall, especially with her screams and pouty sad faces. Also love the amount of friendship presented in this drama.
Just a small doubt before starting~ does all these drama have no break up?? Or no "unwanted misunderstandings"…
I'm glad my review helped you out. lol. I enjoyed that drama as well. As for the dramas you listed, 1. Our Secret: This does have misunderstandings thanks to the male lead's character but that doesn't happen until when both the leads start college, but if I remember correctly, this misunderstanding last about 4 episodes. A very minor annoying side girl character who likes the male lead's character in college. She does like 1 bad thing to the female lead's character and then she's pretty much out of the picture once she gets caught. Also, the FL's mother may give you an annoyance in the episodes where they're still in high school. Gets better once the college episodes begin.
2 Don't Disturb My Study: FL's character is very prideful in the beginning but gets better once she gets along with her classmates. Drama is very focused on the school aspect, teacher trying to provide hope for a class known for being at the bottom, and each student learning their strengths. Not much romance in this one but there are some minor hints of who likes who. No evil characters in this one.
3. You Are My Hero: Other than the bad guys the police swat team trying to take down, there are no evil characters that's part of the main cast. There are a few side characters in the later episodes who are annoying but again they're only in a few episodes and disappear later on. No break ups as the main couple stands firm in their relationship. I think there were 1 or 2 misunderstandings, one was in the beginning before they got together. The other one happened in an episode later on but got resolved in the same episode. The misunderstandings were so minor though that I think you'll still enjoy this one if you want to watch it.
This is one of the Kamen Rider where it doesn't end even after this series end at Ep 50. If you really want a more conclusion to the Kamen Rider Ex-Aid series, then you should watch the extras. 1) KR Ex Aid True Ending 2) KR Ex-Aid "Tricks" - Most of these are backstories to the main series but you should end off with the Para-DX episode because that continues the story in Trilogy 3) KR Ex-Aid Trilogy, Another Ending: Brave & Snipe>Para-DX with Poppy>Genm vs Lazer
I didn't really like the first episode but I'm gonna keep watching it because who knows, maybe, it'll get better.…
I'm with you on that. The first episode wasn't bad, but it just didn't peak my interest as much besides the cool beginning. I might have to put this on hold for now and see how it'll be later.
Can someone spoiler me, how the e sport in this drama? Is it good? And how the romance between the leads? Is it…
The e sport is at a slower pace but that's because the e sport is more focus on the building of their new team. They show a good amount of in person in battle game scenes. Though there's not much tournaments compared to Falling Into Your Smile, I like how this drama showcase what each teammate needs to improve on. It really shows the struggles and achievements of a new team.
Romance wise, for me personally, I found this drama to be better than Falling Into Your Smile. The ML & FL both have a connection, and we find that out in the very beginning of the drama. They both just have so many cute and funny scenes together. I feel more of their chemistry than I did in Fall Into Your Smile.
So far so good for me. Sure, it's your typical bickering ML & FL and a nice SML who likes the FL but won't end up with her, but it's pretty funny. The E-sport part of this drama is going at a good pace as well and I love the in-game scenes. This might be a 2022 favorite for me and probably my favorite E-sport drama by far.
I believe one of those twins disappeared for a while. I'm talking about how both twins coexist with each other from the start of the drama to the end of the drama. Like there's equal screen time with each twin and there's no disappearance or death with one twin so the actor could just focus on acting as one character.
I don't remember the last time I saw a drama that features an actor or actress playing twins that has both twins as main characters. Like it's usually 1 of the twin is the main character while the other twin either goes missing or suddenly dies. This one doesn't look to be the case which is why I'm kind of excited for it, especially knowing how well Ji Sung acting is when it comes to showing different character personalities.
So he's playing the FL's character best friend huh? Something tells me he could be the one who secretly likes his best friend but she'll never find out. Either that or he'll be paired up with somebody else.
Oooh... interesting plot description. I'll put it under my "plan to watch" for now however not sure if I will watch it when it comes out because it'll be Mango TV automated subs. I swear, every Miles Wei drama always fall under Mango TV network.
Maybe it's just my preference but I felt like the writers did it backwards here. I felt like it should've been final battle against the evil spirit and then say goodbye to his 3 workers and to Mr. Choi. That would've wrapped up the drama better in my opinion but they're just doing the exact opposite. Now there's a chance the last episode might seem rushed.
It would have been too easy, there are evil spirits but he is the main one so the showdown will be at the end.....
That's true. I don't mind the path this drama took. I just wished there was somebody to take notice of it or at least have a feeling that the evil was still around so they at least be aware. I mean the best they showed was our leads & Mr. Choi noticed Hee Soo being different but it's like no other characters put two and two together. Then again, I could be wrong and they already notice something was wrong already and decide to make a plan about it and it just hasn't been revealed yet until Ep 15 comes out.
I like how they're finally showing the backstory of the 3 ghosts however I could've done without the evil spirit. Like they should've got rid of the evil spirit arc when he was supposed to get trap in Ep 12 and leave the final episodes for the ghosts spirits, our main couple, & pretty much wrapping things up for this drama.
But because they decided to go down the road where the evil spirit still lingers, I just wished the writers would've gave at least 1 character to have some suspicion that something seemed off, like feeling there was still evil lingering at least. But instead, they did the repeated cycle of not knowing the evil spirit exists, to knowing, to back to not knowing again. Now, they're probably do some final battle scene now with the evil spirit. I just don't know if it's going to be before the 3 ghost employees departure or after since we see nothing about it in the preview.
Guess I'll have to wait until most of the episodes comes out. On the bright side, looks like Fang Lie finally has his own love interest.
