I think the one thing that bothers me about this drama is Su Qi's temper. Like how she resorts to violence or even threaten people if things don't go her way or when she gets angry. It's one thing to fight with your fist to protect yourself from danger but it's wrong when you do it because you're just angry or short temper and I just can't stand that about her, especially when they show scenes of her beating Dong Nan and trying to make it "comedic" even though it's not. You wouldn't think it's funny if the roles were reverse so why think it's funny when a girl does it to a guy?

Just my vent I wanted to express. Besides this setback, it's really an enjoyable drama.

Can somebody find a more recent picture of him? He's not a little kid anymore as still shown on his profile pic.

It's funny to me that I stopped this after Ep 9 and then just skipped to today's episode (Ep 15) and I felt like I didn't miss much.

You all did better than me. I stopped at Ep 9. lol. Just couldn't get into the episode and I just didn't long for the next episode.

Again, it's not a spoiler if the drama hasn't been released yet. People can make assumptions all they want because there's a plot description on this page. Could the description be the actual plot of the drama? Yes. Could it also change and be different? Also yes. If you didn't want to have a general idea of what the plot could be about for S2, then maybe the second paragraph of the description shouldn't be revealed yet and that plot description should have waited until a trailer was revealed first.

It's stated in the plot description. And with 26 episodes, it wouldn't surprise me if they go down the plot where Fang Leng tries very hard throughout the drama for Xiao Qi to remember the love she has for him.

Season 1: Fang Leng falls in love with Xiao Qi but forgets Xiao Qi due to the messing of his brain
Season 2: Xiao Qi & Fang Leng are in love with each other, but Xiao Qi forgets Fang Leng due to the messing of her brain from the alien rival.

Seriously... I really hope we don't go down the memory loss or twisted/amnesia route.

Edit: Just got blocked by that person that says, "don't spoiled the second season by making assumptions" when I clearly was just making an assumption based on the plot description. LOL!

How the heck are there 42 reviews already? lol. Like I get it if there's like a few but 42 for a drama that's still airing? Wow!

I feel like your review should be at the top, as in one of the two reviews they showcase for the Rookie Cops MDL page. Though I dropped this after Ep 8 after seeing the direction this drama was going, you perfectly explained what happened throughout this drama and I think people should read your review before deciding if they want to continue or not with this drama. I don't like it when dramas go with this kind of plot direction because it just suddenly feels random to me. The plot flow just messes up for me. It makes it seem like this should've be handled with 2 seasons, 1st season focus on their police college life and then graduate, the 2nd is after graduation where they learn cop techniques, which is where the title Rookie Cops would come in because they're new cops.

If Disney Plus USA follows how they did with Snowdrop, then the drama should be release sometime next week or the following week. Though I'm not too sure about this because it could also depend on how well this drama did on the overseas Disney plus. Snowdrop did pretty well as the top 5 most watched on Disney Plus APAC which is why the USA Disney plus implemented this drama to their viewers.

I'm still waiting on the scene where the dog joins their team as shown in the drama cover.

So, Ha Ri had the chance to the tell the truth after the first lie, only to tell another lie about her identity. At the same time, Tae Mu needs her to fulfill his lie to his grandfather. Lie after lie huh? Ah... the theme of this drama. hahaha

And don't tell me, he falls in love with her and she falls in love with him. She wanted to tell him the truth but he finds out before she can tell him and now he's upset with her and distance himself from her only to realize he truly loves & misses her. Definitely could see some hypocrisy with Tae Mu if he ends up being this way.

Despite everything I wrote, I am enjoying this drama so far.

Also, I have mix feelings on this. On the one hand, I kinda want to watch this because I've seen About Is Love but on the hand, I'm not a fan of how About Is Love was written and it's still same writer. I had too many frustrations with that drama's writing and just seeing the trailer, I can already sense more frustration if I start this one. Ooof!

You know, this drama has some comedy in it which was totally unexpected based on the trailer. But you know what... so far so good. I like it. Also, I lost count how many times I said "Wow Ahn Bo Hyun is so cool" while watching this drama. lol

Ep 12 is when he confesses, Ep 19 is when she confesses. In between those episodes, you can already see the feelings both have for each other.

Yeah... I doubt it. From the trailer, it looks like he'll be traveling for a motorcycle competition and he's going to be far away from her and they'll each miss other.

I'm just gonna assume Disney plus US will probably have this drama on their platform once this drama is completed, since that's what they did for the K-drama Snowdrop

In the beginning, I was like, wow this is pretty good, might be adding this to one of my favorites for 2022 but now I feel like it's just alright. I think the writers stalled too much here for the second half of this drama which is where it went downhill for me. It's still good & watchable but for me, not enough to say it's a 2022 favorite anymore.

I just love all the scenes of Duo Xi & Qi Heng. They are so adorable.
