I waited to watch this but decided not to after seeing the ratings on Qianxun... what made u drop it?
Let me just give you a summary in case you want to watch it. In the first 6 episodes, you had a good time correlation between 2006 & 2019 because there was a set goal in mind to fix certain issues of the past because it affected the 2019 time period for the ML. Through constant communication through the same phone (ML has this phone in 2019, FL has this phone in 2006), the ML from 2019 was able to fix issues that happened in his time and change his present time with the FL's help in 2006. But from Ep 7 to 12, it seems more like 2 separate dramas with the same characters. There are still some interactions with the ML 2019 and FL 2006 with the phone but not as often as it was in the first 6 episodes. Eps 7-12, they do flip the scenes of 2006 & 2019 often, sometimes it's just a few mins in 2019 and then back to 2006. Other times, the 2019 scenes last a lot longer and the 2006 scenes are shown very little.
I'm not really sure how they're going to show the rest of the 12 episodes but I do hope it goes back to a similarity of how Eps 1-6 were. I'm still enjoying it regardless.
Let me just say, the description for this drama is deceiving. It makes it seems like it's another one of those time travel dramas where one of the leads from the present time gets a chance to go back and relive the past but make changes to have a better future. It almost seems like that for the first 2 episodes but after that, it's a whole new time travel concept that I find very different and interesting. I love the fact that they show how certain scenes were suppose to happen compared to how it actually happen and how, based on certain actions, the present time has been altered multiple ways. From what I've seen so far, I think they'll be multiple story arcs to eventually for the ML to be with his first love again. I'm liking what I'm seeing so far.
Are you guys serious? I was just about to start the drama and I reading this comments giving me 2nd thought
I say watch the first 4 episodes and see what you think. First 2 eps may annoyed you but if you can get to Ep 4, you might have a better idea if you want to continue or not.
is it good??? bcs the comments are ehmmm not so good. is it bcs of dubbing or smth??? pls tell me
Some people are annoyed by her voice/dubbing. I gotten used to it so it doesn't really bother me. Others got annoyed by her character because she is really a spoiled rotten brat in the first 2 episodes and the first half of Ep 3. She does slowly gets better the second half of Ep 3 once she has a set goal in mind. Her character slowly improves but she still has her rich girl moments from time to time.
So I end up finishing a drama about firefighters to start a drama about retired firefighters. lol. What a coincidence.
If you can get past the first 2 episodes where the FL is a spoiled, dumb, bratty girl, then you'll get to the point where she becomes more watchable and not as annoying. I say the midpoint of Ep 3 is when she finally wants to have a goal in her life and slowly has progression in her character from there on, though she still has her annoying moments. I'm really liking this drama so far.

I gotta be honest. As much as I'm enjoying this drama, I'm a little hesitant to finish this because of that broken heart (between Ep 24-25) in the calendar picture. I hate break ups in dramas in general but if the break up is resolved within the same or next episode, with a good amount of episodes left, I'll be okay with it, however if it takes for the very last episode for the lead couple to get back together, then it's a instant drop for me. I really hope this drama doesn't follow this format.
Everyone has their preference of this drama so it depends on what you like and don't like. My opinion, this is about average you can get for a C-drama. You have your typical rich CEO ML and not so rich but not poor FL, the usual bickering between the leads, typical C-drama issues (annoying family member trying to break the lead couple, annoying exes, jealous co-worker [minor role though], & a break up a few episodes before the last. I say the first 11 eps were okay. It's after that where the C-dramas clichés comes in and makes it more annoying for me. The good parts? The little boy has adorable scenes & the secondary characters are best friends of the leads. Everything else is just what you expect. Nothing really special or anything that stands out.
Yeah, I'm just not fan of C-dramas having a format like this. Break ups like several episodes before the last episode tends to ruin a drama for me, unless they can make up within the same episode or the next. I tend to try to avoid them to save me the headache.
At first, the FL didn't want to be a reminder of the truth but now the truth is out, she wants to be there for…
I don't know. Girl was literally going to leave the country for his sake. How is that being there for him when she literally was going to be out of his life? In her opinion, she thought that by doing this it would protect him, but I don't know, I felt like it would make it worst. Like she doesn't trust their relationship enough to face any kind of problems together. She could've been his support through all of this by staying together but instead chose to break up with him, thinking it will make it better but only made things worst. I gotta say, she got lucky she found out before leaving. I just wished she had that mentality of being there for him no matter what in the first place instead of just giving up her relationship just like that.
Yes true. I can't stand the wicked aunt. I just wished they would've made Yi Que stronger, stand firm, and fight for her love, not just giving up so easily.
I finished Ep 18 but after seeing the raws of Eps 19-22, this is a drop for me. I'm not a fan of last minute break ups toward the end of the drama (unless they make up in the same or next episode). I also can't stand the break up love theory "I love him so in order to protect him from being hurt from learning the truth, I need to break up with him". Shouldn't it be, you want him to know the truth and even if he's hurt by it, you'll be there for him when he process it all. FL's logic doesn't make sense because now she wants to be there for him after he learned the truth. This is so dumb.
That's what I thought too, it doesn't make sense for him to suicide on his best friend's birthday while planning…
That's what my first thought was too. Why would he planned & decorate her birthday party and then all of the sudden commit suicide? Doesn't make sense at all. As of now, my theory is Seo Jun was murder and then it was staged as a suicide. The friend or SML is definitely suspicious as of now.
I'm not really sure how they're going to show the rest of the 12 episodes but I do hope it goes back to a similarity of how Eps 1-6 were. I'm still enjoying it regardless.
