After watching the first 2 episodes, I'm not really sure on the direction where this drama is going if I'm being honest. Nice visuals, great cast, but the 2 episodes were just okay to me.

It's not like MPUB because they help people's problems through dreams. HDL helps the spirits resolve their problem so they can go to the afterlife. These two dramas gives me more meaning in their drama as you care for these people's or spirits' stories.

The Witch's Diner has a different concept. Yes, desperate people come in because they're at the lowest point of their life but having a wish granted at a cost makes it seems like the customers won't be truly helped because there's always a catch. It almost seems like there's always a punishment for getting their wish granted.

I know it's just the beginning of this drama but I just can't help and wonder how much details are they going to put in this drama and how to make it flow smoothly, since it's only 8 episodes total.

I guess I'll see how this week's episodes play out. On the plus side, Chae Jong Hyeop has a very handsome smile. Hope we get to see that smile more often.

It's his biological mom. I think she doesn't want to feel old but feel young so that's why his mom prefers him to call her sister.

The flow from scene to scene was better from Eps 8 to 12.

After watching 12 episodes, for me, I say the editing is okay the first 2 episodes, very sloppy and rushed for Eps 3-7, but gets a bit better from Eps 8-12. I think having a set location in these episodes helped out the pacing a whole lot better than earlier on. I just hope they can continue with this pace for next week's episodes.

True. Small details seemed to be edited out but just shows how important they are needed. Same here for me too. 1st two episodes were good for me too and then it was just all scrambled up with the scenes. I have a hard time keeping track what's going on. It was more noticeable on Ep 6 because too much was just going on and so quickly too. I felt like had this been a 40 episode drama like "You Are My Hero", the pace may have been a lot better. Everything just felt so rushed.

Nah. Most who comments likely don't have an expertise but instead have a set "standard" on what firefighters and doctors do based on what they've seen or heard but in reality never experience the actual behind of the scenes of a life of a firefighter or a doctor. That's where the problem of "they're doing this wrong or this doesn't really happen" comes in. For me personally, I just appreciated the small experience I get to see in the rescue scenes of what firefighters and doctors risked their lives doing because in truth, I probably won't get to see this in reality (unless I'm the one need saving LOL).

I mean his mom already a took a liking to her when she met her in Ep 3, the scene where Yan Lan asked his mom about the doll at the restaurant. But I do agree, the scenes are very thrown out there.

For me, it wasn't even close but I'll just vaguely explain it to you in case you want to know what to expect. The cast as the teammates in the image poster is great. In fact, they were the highlight of this drama. The problem is this doesn't happen until the last several episodes of the drama. So that means most of the drama is full of conflicts that hurts our ML & FL and it's a repeated process of bad things happening to them. Gaming wise, pretty bland as it's literally just watching them play competitively on a computer. No cool game animations like what you see in Falling into Your Smile and even the romance is somewhat lacking as well.

I finished it because of the leads and their friends but for me personally, this is not a good gaming drama. Very disappointed in it. I was deceived by the ratings and the mostly positive reviews.

I was looking for another gaming drama to fill in the time waiting for Falling into Your Smile but geez... I think this is the first gaming drama that I have so much frustrations and headaches over. Like the first 12 episodes are the worst. Of all of the gaming dramas I've seen, this has got to be the worst in terms of number of conflicts happening to our leads.

Yeah when it comes to C-dramas, I just can't do anything with the typical clichés that Chinese dramas have. So if one drama doesn't have that, more than likely I will watch it.

This is a chilled and relaxing drama for me. I love how each episode there's always growth with a character, whether it's the main characters or the side characters, aka the community. It seems like there's always a lesson to be learned. Just within the current released episodes, we've seen new beginnings for a lot of characters, new relationships being formed or fixed - family wise, friendships, the community. Each episode may focus on something different but it actually works this way for this kind of drama because there's always something new the characters will learn and we learn a little bit more about each characters in this drama within a certain episode. They do focus on badminton but at the same time, the life lessons that the main characters experienced also help contribute to the badminton sport as well. I'm really enjoying this drama.

That epilogue though of Ep 15, it hurts my heart. And you wonder why there are so many dramas that shows police/prosecutor corruption.

I'm gonna just assume and say Hak Sung construction was responsible for the restaurant ahjumma's son's death since she said her son worked in construction. Hmm... coincidence? I think not. That greedy dude ruins everybody's life doesn't he?

Also was anybody else excited seeing the reunion of Kim Mi Kyung and Jang Na Ra? I'm getting the Go Back Couple feels again.

I think the around the first half of the drama shows a lot of game scenes. Once the ML finds out the game identity of the FL, then the game scenes lessen a lot to almost non existent.

Oh come on Hong Ji Ah... why is she so gullible thinking Hak Sung wasn't going to do anything during the exorcism? That douchbag kidnapped you and then literally tried to freeze you to death. And then you just go to "try" make a deal with the devil himself by selling your place (by the way, that was not a good deal). Sigh... I get she want to send her mom's lingering spirit but she didn't make wise decisions in this episode. I guess that's what happens when she's desperate to know the truth.

You can't. You have to wait until Yo Yo English Channel releases the eng sub episodes on youtube. Once they release it, that's when all of the other drama sites updates it.

I can understand why you feel that way because old Ha Na would use any methods to capture criminals and that would include exposing rainbow taxi but as you seen in the epilogue of Ep 11 and even in Ep 12, she knows that relying solely on the law will not work. Even she has those moments where she doesn't want to follow by the law, which in this case is why she turned to Do Gi. Her character is experiencing growth from this episode. I wouldn't think the writers will go backward on her character especially since we'll honing in on the final episodes.

So I guess we'll have to see since her character just changed in ep 12. It would be more reassuring had her character changed several episodes ago but for now, I'm trusting her character growth and change. We'll have to see how next week plays out.
