So based on the 4 episodes I'm watched so far, here's what I gathered.
- Every 2 episodes, there looks to be a focus for a victim who wants revenge. Let's hope they continue with this because for me, this is what makes this drama great. This is the highlight of this drama. You learn about the victim's story and then boom, revenge plot begins.
- Lee Je Hoon as Do Gi is AWESOME! He can go from badass revenger to an adorable and dorky teacher. This man can act! I can just connect with his character so easily
- Go Eun is a sweet and lovable girl who's great with technology/hacking. She blended in pretty well with the students in that uniform but looks like she has a sad backstory as well that likely will be revealed later on.
- Ha Na, well... I'm not feeling her at all. Right now, she's more a bothersome character, despite being a FL. The reason is because of her getting justice through the law without realizing that there were many who didn't get justice through the law. Maybe she has a backstory too, but I'm not connecting with her character right now. It'll probably be awhile before I get to liking her character
- Sung Mi: Nope just nope, as Do Gi said in the first episode, he felt uncomfortable leaving the first bad guy with this loan shark lady. I'm just uncomfortable with this lady in general. No good vibes from her at all. Very suspicious.
- Mr. Jang: He's an interesting character for sure. I see his motives on why he started this company as he also have a sad backstory but I still can't shake off the feeling for this guy on whether not I should be rooting for him or not. They showed him doing great deeds to the victims but he's still a ? to me.
Editing is a bit off sometimes. Some scenes they showed didn't flow well within the episode so you have to adjust yourself on remembering what happened. Otherwise, still an interesting drama. I just hope Ha Na won't be a nuisance of a character for too long.
First added this drama to my "plan to watch" back in 2018 when I first saw it. Removed it in 2020 thinking that this drama will never air, only to add it back to my "plan to watch" list after hearing it will air this month. Excited!
I'm going through ep 14, should I finish it? Worth it?
Nope. Not worth it. Just bad writing and directing in general. Problem after problem. Nothing gets resolved until the very last episode. The leads only get the last 15 mins of finally being together.
Gosh, I'm not seeing the point of the long screen time of these future scenes. Like, I get you wanna show the hardships of the future, but come on... do we really need like 30 mins of it? I just fast forward those scenes to get back to the plot, only to realize the episode is almost over. WTF?
Don't get me wrong, I like this drama, but I hate how so much of the episode is wasted on something that's not progressing the main plot in the present time because at this rate, if this continues, we're going to have a very rushed (and possibly anti-climatic) final week of episodes.
Episode 13 was heartbreaking... I feel sad for our leads, especially for our boy. I think this is awakening situation…
Right? The writer in this case doesn't give us viewers a good reason why this evil witch is being like this. Her brother doesn't treat her or her son badly so why is she like this? Why is she so greedy? At this point, I just don't care anymore and hope she lands herself in jail. And they just completely ruin Do Yoon's character for me. In the beginning, it seemed like he was going to stand up to his evil mom but now, it looks like he's just sucking up to her so in hopes she'll stop her evil deeds. How's that working for ya?
The only good thing out of this was Yoon Hyun finding out this betrayal of that Aunt (and possibly cousin) of his. So likely in the next episode, he's going to do everything to protect his dad and his dad's company. Take down the evil witch Yoon Hyun!
I swear, this evil greedy aunt better get her punishment by next week for what she did. That's the least you writers can do for us for wasting screen time on her and introducing this unnecessary evil character. I have had it with her trying to ruin this drama for me (aka skipped all of her scenes).
I'm not sure if the writers will go down this route but my theory, I could totally see something happening to older Ha Mi in the present time (like maybe death), causing younger Ha Mi on wishing/doing anything to go back to her time to stop this and everything else from happening.
Example: Younger Ha Mi finally finds what happened to her father, learned that it was her fault for her dad's death. Driven by guilt, she begins to start living a depressing life that the older Ha Mi experienced and what older Ha Mi didn't want her to experience. Younger Ha Mi comes to the point where she wanted to end her life from her guilt and maybe this is where they'll encounter the rain and possibly the truck of doom again but this time older Ha Mi pushes younger Ha Mi out of the way of the truck of doom, with older Ha Mi getting hit and dying from the accident. Crying to her older self as her older self says the last few words before she passes, younger Ha Mi cries and wishes that she gets to go back to her time and changes things and bam that's how she gets back to her time period, learning from everything that happen thus changing the present time of older Ha Mi.
Once again, this is just a theory, a Hello Me K-drama theory.
OMG! I wrote about the Ji Hyun & Mae Yi ship about a month ago. Just when I was about to give up on this ship, the writers made it happen! Yippee! I just love them!
hahahahaha I LOL so hard at the comments when they saw the preview for Ep 14 and then in actuality of what really happens in Ep 14. Have y'all not learned by now that the preview can be or will be out of context in this drama? It's just so funny. I'm pretty sure Ep 15 preview is out of context too.
Look, I know the psycho demon possessed chick isn't an important character but come on... she lasted until the beginning of Ep 15. At least show her demonic spirit getting punish. They showed 2 random demonic spirits punishment but they won't show hers. Sigh... I guess I have make do with regular psycho chick getting punch by her cellmate. That was funny.
Wow... when they said there won't be romance in this drama, they literally meant it. I mean even the smallest romance that occurred, the writers killed it. RIP Jeong Yeong
Episode 7 SG: How can I make myself at home..... without the owner? MJ: What? Why did I felt a sting in my heart? Me: I felt that too when he said that. Oh it hurts!
Well dang, filming for this drama have been suspended since Nov 23rd because a support actor was in contact with someone who tested positive for covid according to edaily and koreaboo. I hope this won't delay the airing too far down in 2021.

SG & YH
YH: Let's be best bros!
SG: Hmm... okay. Whatever.
MJ & DH
DH: Hey! It's you!
MJ: Ugh. It's her again. What do you want?
Bromance for the guys while a love/hate friendship for the girls. I love it.
SG: How can I make myself at home..... without the owner?
MJ: What? Why did I felt a sting in my heart?
Me: I felt that too when he said that. Oh it hurts!
