Considering his first acting gig is Forest and is the second male lead, I say he's pretty good. He's got potential to be a great actor, hopefully a main lead soon.
HATE because the stupid writer is going with the former ex in-laws being together. I mean literally, Ep 65 made me fuming with anger with the direction they chose for this drama. Ugh!
But on the other side, I can't stop watching it because things are continue to go well for HJ. I can't really see anything else going wrong on the path she's on right now. I love seeing her happiness and DG's happiness just being with her. Plus, she's getting a makeover! Take that JS. I have a feeling he might try to get her back after this makeover but it's not going to work on her anymore, plus she has DG now.
The beginning statement of the plot should've stated Kang San Hyuk is a CEO who joins the rescue team for a business purpose, since he didn't start off as a rescue team member.
So far, it's one of those dramas where you don't like one lead but like the other. In this case, the female lead Young Jae is more likeable than San Hyuk. Kind of a rough start for the beginning episodes. It doesn't really grab you into the drama plot until about ep 4, but at least you begin to see the traumas these main leads are dealing with. Overall, I'm enjoying this drama so far, especially Ep 4.
eww they're actually going ahead with the jinbong x cheoljin loveline...
I still have hope that won't happen but that hope is slowly dwindling. Still waiting to see if Jung Won will have any more interactions with Cheol Jin but she needs to solve her issues quickly for this to happen.
She's selfish when it comes to her actions since it cause others around her a lot of trouble. Yes she does everything…
Let me correct myself. In a way he is a victim. I never said he deserve to lose his daughter. No one deserves to lose a family member. I just said things could've turned out differently had he chose to live his life for good instead as a thief. For me, yes it was very sad that his daughter was killed. It was even more frustrating that those bystanders didn't do anything. But it was hard for me to sympathize for him because he lived his life as a thief and then committed murder. I don't blame Yoo Ryung on trying to find her sister. That's not the issue. The issue is how she handled it. Granted, I do understand her reasoning b/c the metro police failed to help her but I wasn't okay with her using the subway police and Chief for her own motives because they didn't do anything wrong to her.
After seeing him in Catch the Ghost, I can definitely see a male lead potential in this guy. I just enjoy his acting overall in that drama, from being a goofball, angry, sad. Man this guy has talent.
I started on this but Jin Sang is getting beyond frustrating so I'll hold off on this for now. Those who are watching this, let me know when Hae Jin divorces Jin Sang. lol. I'll probably start from there.
Sometimes i don't understand people's logic. They are blaming Yu Roung as she is selfish/annoying, only thinking…
She's selfish when it comes to her actions since it cause others around her a lot of trouble. Yes she does everything she can to find her sister but she doesn't realize the consequences others have to suffer because of her. After her secret gets revealed, at least her character gets better as she's more aware of others and her surroundings. But no I don't sympathize with the subway ghost at all. If he would've been the responsible father and not pickpocket from others, he wouldn't have lost his daughter that day. He started off already as the criminal long before his daughter died. The mom also shares responsibility because all she had to do was to watch her grandchild and she couldn't even do that.
She did. But it didn't really make sense to me how she turned a complete 180 after a small conversation with her mom. Like there wasn't a steady progression to this change. It was just an instant change after she told her mom how she felt.
So a couple of things I wanna say about episode 11 - Ji Suk has really grown in character. I wasn't really too fond of him in the beginning but you continue to see a progression in character development to the point where he's very likable and you just want to see more of his scenes. He could've took the route of being very angry at Yoo Ryung for all the lies and actions she did but instead he was very understanding and caring for her. - I kinda wish Yoo Ryung would've just told Ji Suk the truth from her own mouth instead of Ji Suk finding out from her friend and the video from Ma Ri, but oh well. I'm just glad the secret is out now. It makes the episode more enjoyable now that there are no more secrets. - This episode looks to be the start of character development for Yoo Ryung. Now that her secret is out, no reason to lie anymore or commit any more actions behind Chief's back. Plus, it looks like she's thinking about Chief now and not just herself anymore. Yay! - Romance between the leads likely starts from this episode on out. I just didn't feel any romance connection between the leads until this episode. It felt more like just work partnership the whole time until this episode aired.
No problem. Those who dropped it didn't really missed much anyways. lol
Honestly, I was curious to see if the leads would survive or not from this because it could've gone either way and I probably would've been fine with it considering the plot wasn't great anyways.
Idk why some ppl say Yoo Ryung role is annoying, I could understand why she does all that, and ep 8 is really…
For me, I get why she does all that too but that doesn't excuse her character from being an annoying one. Take Ep 8 for example. If she would've just help Chief capture the grasshoppers in the first place, then they would've found the phone of the recording of the baker's son kidnapper. But because she's so terrible at seeing what's in front of her (aka Chief already capturing one of the Grasshopper guy), she jumps randomly instead and lands on the Chief and let the thief gets away. This is another annoying part of Yoo Ryung. Instead of chasing the thief, she knocks Chief off the scooter and goes after of the dump truck where the thief threw the "possible stolen items". While I do understand why she did this (because she really want to find the Baker's son plus knowing the feeling of finding an autistic family member), her actions are still frustrating to me. What else can I say, she wants to move to the Metro division (from the preview). she wants a new partner and she says partners should work/stick together but she doesn't do that at all. Chief always have to sacrifice for her. She never does any of the sacrificing. She may be selfless when it comes to helping the victims but she is so selfish when it comes to her co-workers & Chief. Some may feel emotional during her breakdown scenes but I just can't. I can't sympathize with her just based on everything she's done so far up to ep 8. I know she's doing everything she can to find her sister but I just hate it how she's using the Subway police & Chief for her own motives. I kinda wish Ma Ri would expose her already to Chief on taking the tunnel key.
The drama is very interesting but ugh Yoo Ryung is so annoying and beyond frustrating. Everything she does I just want to slap her. Never thinks about Chief. Only does things that benefits her. She frustrates me a lot more than Ma Ri does. What is the writer thinking?
