DW does not see the need to force and that it's a mistake to even meet. She also thought that why not the scholar find a "cure" instead to turn himself into a merfolk. When Zhang said that he is willing to (go into her world), DW said in reality there is no such "cure". Quite clearly a rejection.

wow its not plainly AMAZING, your "shattered my sky-high expectations and sent them rocketing into space" just tops it all to describe the drama and Lusi so far!! Attention tension so tight and there's quite a bit of emotional scenes like when she begged and thank Zhang when he offered the top price required to free her, when she wished for freedom, when she cried in knowing her mom! ahhh Lusi did it again. The wait was worth it!

you are right in today's ep, it shows what they didn't show yesterday before the goddess died she sent out the 2 halves of the token, one for wen xiao and Zhu Yan who was at the scene captured the other half.
