Can rivals become friends?

It starts with a rivalry between the prestigious boarding school’s top 5% & the dance club “brats”. When they’re forced to form a cheerleading squad to stack the elite’s scores, chaos ensues.

They have to either learn how to work together or earn demerits on their records. The task seems impossible at first, but as they spend time together they realize they’re not as different as they thought.

As the top student ML & the brats’ leader FL interact more, a bond is formed that makes them each others person - the one who’s always on their side, no matter what. They encourage, console, & protect the other in every situation. They’re a delight to watch.

The bromance between the ML & SML is precious. You could watch just for them, seriously. And seeing the SFL actress as a mean girl is such a different role than I’m used to for her but she totally nailed it! (Look up the cast list & you’ll see lots of familiar faces.)

There’s betrayal, scheming, toxicity, family drama, lies, & scandals. But there’s also loyalty, friendship, justice, laughter, healing, & love. It’s a great reminder that everyone needs kindness. And while we’re searching for that person to always take our back, we can also BE THAT PERSON for others 💕
