Short & Cute

Their story began in high school. The FL was outgoing & a bit of a slacker, while the ML was a more introverted & serious student. They unexpectedly became friends, but then lost touch when he was sent to live abroad with his mom. What will happen when they reunite 10 years later when he’s back in Korea for a brief business trip?

When their lives become intertwined once again as adults, they seem to finally be on the right path to find happiness. As they slowly resolve the misunderstandings between them, their bond deepens & their love blooms, giving them both the sense of security they’ve been longing for.

Watching them reconnect as friends & confidants was really sweet. Their progression to lovers was so natural. Their interactions really endeared them to me. They’re both very strong individuals who learned how to trust in & lean on one another. I really liked them both.

I also appreciated how the FL always put her ex in his place. She didn’t give him space in her life as if it was his right. She always chose what was best for herself or for her & the ML.

I was surprised how much they managed to pack into just 8 eps. And while it is very trope-y, I still enjoyed it. I do wish there was an actual breaking free from the control of his mom, rather then her “winning for now” like she did, but it’s still a happy ending.
