I'm never in a drama slump because I tend to switch country every now and then... So I have a great drama balance! I'm not much of a rewatcher... I have too many other dramas to watch. My drama platform is pretty vast... I like watching different genres depending on my mood! If I do rewatch it's with a friend...I never drop but I do pause and come back to it maybe a year later or so.
The modern part was sooooo good! We could've done without the historical part (I love Historicals) or they could've shortened it to two eps or less. Shi Hoo was my fav character and I shipped him so bad with Ara ❤️
Kyaaaaaaaaaaa, Omg, I'm still not over this... I SCREAMED and fangirled soooo much at this weeks preview. I am so dead waiting for next week. I've already replayed it till my laptop battery died
In dramaland, YOU DON'T JUST CRUMBLE AN IMPORTANT PAPER AND THROW IT IN THE TRASH CAN. Someone will definitely…
In episode 7 when he was writing his confession and then Guang Chao came in Ya Nuos office and turned on the phone and he overheard their conversation with the most heartbreaking expression on his face and then threw away the paper after Ya Nuo said she wasn't into Boys Love :(( lol. Can they just hook up real soon... Coz they are literally made for each other. They are so in sync with each other it's so beautiful to watch❤️
KISS HER or realise she is of the FEMALE SPECIES! I understand that at first glance she is practically a GUY but when you get to know her and especially when she is around him... How the hell does he not know? Agh I LOVE this drama❤️
first, I'm not liking the way the relationship of both leads is developing. it's immature. you can't just say…
I feel like what you just described is what the average second lead goes through. Takane is always around when Junko is sad or emotionally unstable... He then comforts her, respects her and constantly professes his love to her. Junko has feelings for Makoto but because of the wedding picture (misunderstanding) things went wrong. If Takane was a second lead he wouldn't have profesed his love and he would be doomed to a "forever alone" status and things would work out between Makoto and Junko...
However Takane has been telling Junko he loves her over and over... Stalking her, dragging her around and comforting her when she needs it most... All of these interactions in the name of Takanes love just keep on scoring points for him. At first it was all bad points, then it turned to guilty feelings and finally it's becoming good points as he is constantly helping her and doing her favours. This is the evolution of their interactions...
Therefore all Asian drama second leads should take note on one thing... No matter how nice you are to her and how much help you provide to her... It all becomes meaningless if you don't confess to her... Say it a million times over if you have to... And don't say it at the last minute... You need her to see you. Don't keep your feelings a secret. That's stupid and it just means you forfeit the game from the begining.
This version has the best Kotoko. And a good Kotoko makes a good Itazura Na Kiss.
The Korean version was such a mess that I was going to give this one a miss... But I'm glad I didn't!! I shudder at the thought of Kim Hyun Joon's acting... Wait...was that even called acting? He had one expression the whole drama... Even in their bed scene he wore the same expression.
As for Oh Ha Ni (the Korean Kotoko) she was literally a clingy stalker who had absolutely no pride. I have no words for this ridiculousness.
In this version Kotoko is cute... She argues back, she gets her own cute revenge, she's expressive, she laughs, she cries and she's in love. Everything she does is lively and adorable. She has personality and character... Even though she mostly revolves around Naoki she is still her own person and character. She has her own goals and she's quite the comedian. She's basically hilariously cute.
