I dont have much to compare to either. I mean i remeber watching 10 mins of the japanese version... But i didnt get further because i was rudely interupted... And i never got further. Although up until now i dont know why! Lol

Omg! Yay, someone who is watching Misaeng AND Bad Guys! I have to agree with you, they are definitely the best two drama on air! And even though there isn't much competition... They are ace-ing this. Two extremely strong drama... Now that I've caught up to them both imma go and try Nodame Cantabile!
Regardless of the cliches... I still enjoyed the drama. The only thing that annoye me is that they didn't explain…
No, she didn't run CH mum over because the person at the wheel was park soo in's mum. They didn't explain it properly at all. Even you don't seem to be sure about it either. :)
Regardless of the cliches... I still enjoyed the drama. The only thing that annoye me is that they didn't explain properly what JH's mother had to do with the accident. It's stupid... They left many knots untied by the end. however all the cute and funny moments with the cast really made this drama enjoyable.
I don't agree with many of your reviews... Especially the Joseon Gunman one... BUT this ONE is soooo ON POINT. I am also fuming. I remember waiting every week for new episodes... Because the first half was so good... Then I began to wonder if the writer had a brain tumour or something... I would question my friends every week whether the writer was still sane at this point... Never in my life did I want the main character to jump off a cliff so much... Agh that ending was the WORST ending ever. I also want my 50+ Hours back. I think I should get compensation.
I don't understand the hate for Nam Sang Mi and her character. I thought she grasped her character fully and that was the way Soo In was written. I honestly believe that her character was a very strong character who doesn't have to lose her femininity and cross dress or act tomboyish in order to come across as strong. I think she showed her strength in the way she dealt with things, and though helpless at times she never lost the strength to move forward and fight for what she believed in. Some people need to understand that in her particular period of time woman were restricted to their homes and only seen as child bearers as well as house keepers, so her curiosity and willingness to educate herself was also a sign of strength in character. Also she was an excellent advisor to Yoon Kang and his voice of reason because without her he would probably have gone down a similar path as the main villains who were portrayed as victims of their time. I don't understand why others find it boring when it's a drama that is exceedingly the opposite of so. Just by analysing Soo In's character it's so interesting...
I was very disappointed by other reviews and comments... Especially the hate for Nam Sang Mi and her character. I thought she grasped her character fully and that was the way Soo In was written, that's why I am so happy to see your review! (Now I don't have to write one since yours is perfect). I'm shocked to see such negative comments about this drama... So I feel I must defend it. It is pure excellence. I thoroughly enjoyed it to the last second... Lee jun Ki and Nam Sang Mi were perfect and it was an excellent performance from them both. The bad guys were not your average bad people with a past and big developments are made. I like the way power shifted and alliances constantly shifted throughout. To me this is one of the best Kdrama's this year.
