Compared to other dramas, the acting of some of the leads (those that exclusively appear in episodes 7+8), the (standard) story and the dialogues aren't amazing. It's still entertaining though. During episodes 7+8 the greatest part for me was the female villain and her relationship with a certain someone ;)
Currently on episode 6 It's not bad to be honest. The recent episodes are of them in the mortal realm which I…
I'm still at 4. I also liked it a lot more. The scenes between the female and male leads were also cute :) Have 5 and 6 already been subbed yet? Or do you speak Mandarin?
I liked episode 3, but especially 4 so much better! Awesome female lead on a "horse" protecting a stubborn prince :D I hope the romance is going to develop slowly and not too quickly.
Loved the scenes between the 2 :)
Judging from the first 2 episodes, this drama falls short of expectations. The story is disjointed at places and…
I think it got better though. Either I didn't notice them as much, or they used less cgi models than at the beginning :) personally I can ignore that better now and focus on the story and characters.

I haven't read the books and only seen the first 20 minutes (got too late yesterday), but I have to agree on the CGI. WHY use SO MUCH of them, if they can't afford the money to make them look realistic?
It makes the whole experience appear almost ridiculous at times :(
I'm trying to not judge this by its cover, I'll give it a few episodes.
I really like fantasy romance and there don't seem to be many.
Also that there appears to be a strong female lead is very nice.
I hope she gets a lot of screen time.
There are a few things this drama did a good job at, particularly addressing feminism in respect to Korean culture…
I've only watched the first episode and there already were some quite strong messages, some even directly addressed by Park Shi Yeon herself, totally loved that and her mostly very strong character!
I understand that the main focus is the patriarchal society, especially in regard to single mothers, and that it probably does a good job addressing *some* of the insane issues women face. But it was disappointing to see that it wasn't devoid of sexism itself in other areas at the same time, brought to you by the very same characters who were otherwise so damn great in doing the exact opposite. All of that in the first episode. It's probably already amazing to at least get something addressed at all in a Korean drama, but there were scenes I really disliked for a "feminist" show, minor issues but still, and since the relationship is lacking and judging from the reviews this wouldn't improve, I'm probably not going to continue.
Edit: ahhh I see, DF already has them :)
