Let's not tell lies now. That book was a masterpiece and it has not been done justice nor were the characters…
LingOrm both have strong face cards and it enhanced the series aesthetically. It's also a good thing that TSOU has brought many people to watch GL. But like you said the series was a let down. I probably would've liked it more if they hadn’t taken that direction in the final stretch toward the ending.

imo, TSOU book is average - not so bad, not the best either. And I was disappointed with how the series turned out. I know it's popular and a lot of people like it, but I don't.
Now I'm trying to stay positive for Petrichor. Even though at this point it's not very satisfying, I really hope they at least don't ruin it.

At least The Loyal Pin proves that with proper preparation, the series can capture the essence of the book and turn out well. And I think that discussing the script with the author could also help maintain the integrity of the original story, like Reverse 4 You team did.

Agreed. Petrichor is one of the best GL books I've read so far, and the series doesn't do much justice to it. And the script and storyline feel a bit lackluster. But I don't think the series is bad. It's just not up to par with the book.
Suwan's lingering gaze on the Princess tells a lot about her feelings. And the unspoken longing between Mom Sud…
That scene speaks volumes of Suwan's feelings. She's not hiding her jealousy and possessiveness. I'm currently at ep11. I plan to finish the complete aired dramas in my CW list before the year ends, so I'm a bit behind with MPS. But I don't mind spoiler though.
I saw a sapphic kiss, could any of you elaborate what was going on?
It was just one scene. The context is Tanyong (played by Fern Nopjira) had crush on Jinda and confesses to her. But Jinda politely declines as she loves Tanyong nothing more than a sister. From that point on, they became sworn sisters and help each other.
I started the drama and finished episode 1. I have nothing against Davika and I’m not an expert in Thai history…
You're not the first one questioning the mixed race thing. Davika even got backlash from some Thai netizens, and she addressed it on her Twitter account. This drama is a fictional depiction of a historical figure, so obviously it's not historically accurate. And since Davika is one of the biggest name in Thailand so marketing wise, it attracts people to watch.
New pictures are out from the pilot. We got Becky with glasses❤️ I wonder if this will still be released in…
If you read the book, you can imagine that the series will be a big production. And since it involves anthropology, they surely need to consult the right people/department. Just like Petrichor did with the forensics things. I'm afraid if they release it too soon, it would seem rushed. Plus, FreenBecky have other individual projects to be released in 2025.
I'm suprised it's not until 2026. Does this mean IDF is only releasing one GL in 2025? Also, why did it say that…
I think it's consider science fiction because of the anthropology aspect of it. In the book, most of the time Bua and Phinya are in the lab. And it involved investigation of the plane crash.
I can't remember how many times I've been rejected 😂
The thing is, it was initially reported that PTG Entertainment bought the right to SWM, but there were no official statements. Just an update on IG story like you said. It was then revealed that TanGuy Studio will produce the series. So that's why it was kind of tricky to find the legit sources.
Now I'm trying to stay positive for Petrichor. Even though at this point it's not very satisfying, I really hope they at least don't ruin it.
