I love that this drama has more mature tone and puts the queen front and center alongside the king, which is something we don't see often in historical k-dramas. I'm here for the solid performances.

So glad to find someone who thinks the same! I get that many people don’t watch this drama because it doesn’t starred A-listers and the historical inaccuracy, but somehow I like it. Love the Queen.

I hope 'Claire Nineteen Scars' is just a nickname. If that's her actual name, I hope someone will edit it with the right Thai name instead of putting the direct Google translation.

Kagesama (KA9ESAMA) wrote ClaireBelle. But Kagesama co-wrote Petrichor with another author under the name SixTeenSeven. So I think it's important to acknowledge that Petrichor is the work of two authors.

Actually, it's more like this series has 2 BL actors. And in the book, there's no BL story whatsoever.

I've read all three books and I personally like SWM the most. Zezeho's books never disappoint so far.

LingOrm both have strong face cards and it enhanced the series aesthetically. It's also a good thing that TSOU has brought many people to watch GL. But like you said the series was a let down. I probably would've liked it more if they hadn’t taken that direction in the final stretch toward the ending.

imo, TSOU book is average - not so bad, not the best either. And I was disappointed with how the series turned out. I know it's popular and a lot of people like it, but I don't. 

Now I'm trying to stay positive for Petrichor. Even though at this point it's not very satisfying, I really hope they at least don't ruin it.

At least The Loyal Pin proves that with proper preparation, the series can capture the essence of the book and turn out well. And I think that discussing the script with the author could also help maintain the integrity of the original story, like Reverse 4 You team did.

Agreed. Petrichor is one of the best GL books I've read so far, and the series doesn't do much justice to it. And the script and storyline feel a bit lackluster. But I don't think the series is bad. It's just not up to par with the book.

That scene speaks volumes of Suwan's feelings. She's not hiding her jealousy and possessiveness. I'm currently at ep11. I plan to finish the complete aired dramas in my CW list before the year ends, so I'm a bit behind with MPS. But I don't mind spoiler though.

I love that this series doesn't involve cheating/unfaithful bf/gf/spouses.

Suwan's lingering gaze on the Princess tells a lot about her feelings. And the unspoken longing between Mom Sud and Mom Kham...I love it.
