👋🏻👋🏻 Can’t bear to watch those slashing scenes 😣😢
Exactly! The way that monster slaughtered the whole city was heart-wrenching 😔

I don’t understand why Esther and He Yu are being brought into a review of Pursuit of Jade in such a negative light. It feels like you’re trying to turn the audience against Esther and He Yu . If the drama didn't click for you, critique the story instead of taking shots at them.

Its a Ragebait! Ignore it . Don't give them the attention they want .
You can see they created this account today just to criticize the drama LOL

This drama is really beautiful . The slow-burn, gentle romance between Fang Muyang and Fei Ni gave me so much warmth—they are officially my new comfort characters! 😭

I really appreciated that the script gave so much depth to the entire ensemble cast instead of just focusing on the leads; it made the 1970s setting feel so authentic and immersive. And can we talk about the cinematography? Every shot was stunning. It’s rare to find a drama that balances nostalgia, character growth, and aesthetics this perfectly.

I loved it so much that I actually wrote a long-form breakdown of all my favorite scenes and dialogues and why this story works so well.

If anyone is interested in a deep dive or is confused whether they should start the drama or not, I just posted my full DETAILED review here, give it a read also i would love to hear your thoughts :)

Title Love Story in the 1970s Spoiler
Ep 24
I’ve officially lost hope for Feng Lin’s redemption arc. The audacity she has to keep bickering with the FL is mind-blowing. Who does she think she is now? As a worker, she needs to get her act together before she ruins her own life, but honestly, people like her rarely change. I’m just waiting for her little secret to be exposed so she can finally shut that mouth of hers. She needs to be fired from the Jiangcheng factory ASAP.

If Ms. Xu can get what she deserved, then Feng Lin’s downfall needs to be next. I’m ready to see some tears and actual guilt! I won't be happy until she's forced to face the consequences of her actions.

Title Love Story in the 1970s Spoiler
Seeing Ms. Xu finally dismissed in Episode 23 was such a highlight! That downfall was long overdue, and honestly, she got exactly what she deserved. It’s a classic case of 'reaping what you sow.'

As for Feng Lin—wow. She changed sides faster than the speed of light! She’s a total chameleon, flawlessly adapting to whoever holds the power. It’s a harsh moral lesson for Ms. Xu that 'a fox may turn grey, but never kind.' She spent so much time being calculating that she didn’t realize she had surrounded herself with people just like her. It’s the ultimate reminder that when you build a foundation on greed, the very people you 'nurture' by your side will be the first to bite back the moment the wind changes direction.

With Ms. Xu gone, I hope Feng Lin’s university quota is the next thing to go. It’s the only way she’ll learn KARMA is a mirror .

I honestly despise Lin Mei’s family. They are the definition of selfish and greedy, constantly obsessing over money. It’s heartbreaking to see her treated as nothing more than a stepping stone for her brother’s success. I truly hope she cuts ties and never looks back—let them worship their precious son and daughter-in-law and see where that gets them!

There are so many grating characters here; even the comic creator Muyang is working with is getting on my nerves. But let's be real: Feng Lin still takes the crown for most annoying (^-^)

HAHAHA she's such an annoying character. I definitely want to see her getting what she deserves and i hope the director don't disappoint us.
