Xiao Ximi

I stepped into the dreamy world of C-dramas in 2021, starting with Put Your Head on My Shoulder. After that, there was no turning back.  I went crazy searching for more rom-coms fun, lighthearted, student-life stories filled with loneliness, quirks, and emotional depth. Rom-coms became my comfort zone.

Throughout this journey, I discovered actors like Zhao Lusi, Wang Peng, Chen Zheyuan, and many others. I loved them, adored them, and genuinely cherished their work. But at some point, I began to feel a little tired of the same story patterns. I wasn’t done with C-dramas I was just craving something more. Something darker. Something intense. Action, thriller, horror, suspense, tension.

I stayed loyal to C-dramas, but that desire for something new pushed me to explore Korean dramas. And then… everything changed.

In 2025, I watched my very first K-drama: Mouse. And boom there was no turning back. After Vagabond, I discovered Bae Suzy, and while browsing more about her, I accidentally opened the door to K-pop. I watched Invincible Youth like a maniac and laughed with my whole heart. For the first time in a while, I felt genuinely, deeply happy discovering an entirely new industry.

Then came one after another Park Shin-hye, and so many unforgettable works. MBC, tvN, SBS—oh my God. What kind of industry is this? It has everything. From Stairway to Heaven to thrillers, romance, heartbreak, and joy it makes you feel alive.

To everyone who created stories that made me laugh, cry, feel happy, and feel broken in the most beautiful way thank you. Truly. I love you all with all my heart. God bless you for giving me memories I’ll carry forever.
