It will be a different story sooo I think you don't need to watch the first seasonAlthough s1 is a masterpiece…
that's great. am glad you liked it. i hope part 2 is as good or even better.

i first saw it when it premiered. i still had the hwayugi fever lol. but i loved it so much. i loved how seunggi an sehyung became too close. ep 4 was my ultimate favorite, watching these guys die in the gym was too hilarious and real. i somehow took a pause cause one of the episodes was too annoying and i can't skip episodes here in the list. but it's one the most favorite unique variety shows.

100 Days My Prince - High and Mighty Prince lost his memories, got hitched to a commoner (by a decree he created), and treated as the village idiot. the best way to describe the drama
funny how the article mentioned most my favorites and tough amnesia can be annoying yes it is entertaining if used well. have you seen forget me not the jmovie?

@J100Sorry, but I don't understand you comment.
i think you are mislead. his jaw still as strong as amazing as ever. he maybe lost weight and his long hair looks great. if you focus on his makeup as a woman you;ll see they did a lot that might seem like natural makeup but his eyebrows and eye makeup not to forget the foundation are all well calculated.
you can compare his pictures with long hair with old ones from previous dramas he was as thin. also the director mentioned them being ready to use cgi to hide his adams apple but they ended up using makeup and camera angles

when she said "Nokdu" I just lost it... 1- she finally knows his name. and 2- it's the highest level of love,…
yes. but when i read this kings journey and remember king sejeong i eel weird. cause one went to war and assassinations cause of his father, status and people around him, while the other was basically pushed to it by hid older brothers making the most ridiculous excuses not to take the throne hahahah.

it's not reeeeally following history but these are real characters from history.
the king really did have issues and took the throne during the war. the half brother was assassinated at the age 7 after some factions tried to give him the throne. the king however had a son who was married and a crown prince. the king and his family were dethroned in a coup by the nephew and some factions and were sent to exile. in which the prince and his wife tried to escape but were capture and "died" by "suicide". from what i also read historians have this great controversy about this king cause they think he was the one who killed his 7 yo brother and hence didn't give him a title in history or something.
this drama however hides the prince from the palace and his enemies and gives his life a new possibility. i guess it also hints that maybe the kid was killed by the nephew.
honestly from what i read these two kings were so dark and weird. they would deliberately hide things from the history record with the words (secrets shouldn't be recorded) which just made me even more curious
wow that got long

i honestly did not know there was a webtoon and just checked the history behind them. do you know how the webtoon ended?
most of the sageuk have very intense endings with a main death (but not the leads). in this case i wouldn't mind the 2nd lead though i doubt it.
the writers did make us cry over the widows but idk this drama seems to have it's own pace so let's wait and see

THERE"S A WEBTOON? i did not know
i honestly spent the episode he showed his true nature i denial. it's such a great and somewhat realistic character. his place in the palace in between all these consistencies and assassinations would only result in him being THAT. (still killing the kid am still in denial about though it happened in history but it's too damn dark)

you weren't the only one. i got confused and thought the dead kid was his other son but had to go and look the whole history behind everything to get into prescriptive.

they already changed the history when nokdu (the prince) was raised outside the castle in hiding.
in history the prince was born during the war raised in the palace married and tried to escape the exile with his wife after the coup against his father but both were capture and then died the same year. his mother died right after in the exile and the king lived in it.

he did become king in the real life history, we don't know about the drama though.
he is the king's nephew so you they are cousins.
i think he was always this nasty but he can just hide it so well. the character has such hunger for blood and power it's so intriguing to see as a second lead, hiding his true nature to get to what he wants. also watching tae oh do such an amazing portrayal of the character is so fun.
this is such a fascinating drama

I'm dying to know if the writers will follow what was in the history. Based on Wiki, Gwanghae's son was a deposed…
i doubt they will stick to the history of the story. history says gwanghae's son wasn't just a deposed crown prince, he actually tried to escape with his wife but they were captured and later died "suicide" aged 25ish. maybe the drama is looking at an angel in which the prince was hidden from all the political war and assassination and how things could've gone differently.

Imagine if Fang Leng is the alien that kept touching Xiao Qi. Especially when he wants to touch her heart... but…
i don't remember him reporting her for sexual harassment.
i was very aware of how creepy she was acting if things were the other way around, people would have never let it go. which made me question why is he letting her get away with all these things and i guess they hint later that liked her and wanted to use her but honestly am still a bit uncomfortable about how violate he must've felt.

her thing is being a pervert and i did laugh about how weird she was around men but i guess i'll let it slide cause she's an alien.
