It is true that not everything needs happy endings, but romances ending up with breakups sour the shit out of me. I guess it is because I partially watch kdramas because I like cute, unrealistic romances and break ups are not a thing in my cute unrealistic romances.

I was confused, too. The moment a partner cheats, it is game over. Perhaps he felt guilty as well because he was also cheating on her [emotionally, not physically] with one of the fls?

If anything, it is anti-romance. Someone who enjoys fluffy romance stuff will feel depressed after watching this.

On that matter, the single mother FL was in the wrong, too. Just because she wanted to date someone and she had the hots for the cheating guy, it does not give her a free pass to consistently hit on him, knowing he is in a relationship.

I share your complaint about the cheating couple. I felt irritated whenever the woman who kissed another man [and went to a hotel with him] was on the screen. Like, I just cannot with cheaters. The guy sucked, too. He should have ended things for good before emotionally cheating on his gf with the single mother FL.

I was very happy not to see him during most of the story.

I loved the two leads and the contagious diseases soldier guy, and the kid the leads briefly adopt is adorable. I wish I could see more of them and only them. Almost everyone else can burn in the pits of hell, though. If you want to watch something where 99% of the cast is composed of rotten bastards, this is it. The wife killer and that disgusting creepy of a lawyer are some of the most vile characters I had the displeasure to watch in dramas.

I mean, they are cops. It comes with the territory, it seems.

I thought there was not enough of the lead's relationship once they started dating for reals, so I found myself bored as well. Too much wasted time on old fucking people minding the dating lives of their descendants and said descendants worrying about what old people think. Gosh, living in a Confucianism-based society must be tiring as hell.

Like many others, I would have preferred if the drama was about the second couple. They are so cute and they have personalities and substance unlike the main couple.

This drama taught me to trust my instincts. By episode 3 or so, I thought the ML was the embodiment of red flags [he simply does not understand the meaning of the word "no"] and the FL was easily the most boring FL in any drama I had watched.

By the final episode, my opinion had not changed. If he dated a cactus, he would be treated more warmly than the way the FL treats him and plants cannot consent, so his problem with the word no would be avoided altogether.

The FL's one and only love is her work from episode 1 to the last. She could not even be bothered to engage with the wedding preparations lmao, what the fuck is this?

I really like the female lead, but once I realized the two fucking cheaters were there to stay, I could not watch it anymore. And then, reading the comments below, I came to learn that the demonic cheaters are forgiven and get a happy ending [WHY?] and that the evil bald bitch of a character does not get slapped in the face four times. So, I think I made the right decision and I will have to rewatch Healer if I want to see the cute ML guy again.

Now I am contemplating not finishing it. Cheating is unforgivable.

I thought Ma Tan was funny, too, but I would say the four "leads" are all quite funny. I actually liked most of the characters and I wish I could see more of them.

Good ending does not equal happy ending.
