Who knows what melody Ha Eun Gyeol is playing episode 4 (min 44:30) on the guitar in the band's room? Is it something well known or sth written for this drama? Really love it and would love to listen to it on my phone so I'm kind of hoping it's a cover of a well known song... Who can help me?

TW: are you talking about the sw*stika?
I didn't notice personally, but I do know that the symbol has been a buddhist symbol for much longer than it was a nazi symbol (a simple wikipedia search will tell you this already). Thus it's not that special to see it in a k-drama tbh.

season 2? why couldn't they finish everything in one season? i'd rather that than dividing a drama to different…
probably to get more funding if season 1 is really well received, rather than make a less good 20 episode season 1 with the same amount of funds

S1 is better & i don't even need to explain it 💀
I couldn't finish S1, dropped it halfway. It just got tedious at some point. Because of that I first didn't plan to watch S2, but then because of a lack of anything better to do I did start. To me, S2 is much more entertaining than S1, I don't think I will drop this one. 🤷‍♀️ Goes to show that people's tastes differ.

Any country that forces its entire male population to waste years of their lives in conscription lives in a dictatorship…
Any country that is at war (whether technically or actually) would be a fool to scrap conscription until a lasting peace agreement is brokered.

During world War 2, almost all European countries had conscription. Because of this, my father still had conscription in the late 80's or early 90's, it was only scrapped in 1993 in my country. And with the war in Ukraine there is talk of reinstating it.

exactly, and he is marrying a foreigner, so, the audience SHOULD be harsher with him, guess if you are pretty…
Why on earth should they be harsh with him for marrying a foreigner? Do you think it is illegal or immoral to marry someone from another country, or what? Can he only marry a south korean woman in your opinion? What does it matter??? Furthermore, what the hell does his appearance have to do with anything? The other celebrities you mention all got worse criticism because of other reasons (illegal gambling, bad attitude ...), not because they got divorced and happened to be less handsome. Song Joong Ki got divorced and criticized for that as well, but to a lesser extent because he has not done anything illegal or otherwise offensive. That's the only thing that played a role here, not this "double standard" or whatever that you seem to imply in the tens of comments that you've left all throughout this comment section.

It's not just that... what calls my attention is the content of the letter. Do people in South Korea usually write…
I believe if they don't write it this way, people (especially in Korea) will criticize them more. So yes, the letter tries to show that this is a mutual decision that isn't just because of a pregnancy. Rather, it's because they're a happy couple that want to make their family official. Making this point clear will help them avoid too much undue criticism from the conservative society that is South Korea.

Also keep in mind that this was translated, so the tone may be a bit off.

sad he is getting married because of the baby, we all know people outside south korea uses birth control to stop…
Oh please, like a baby is made by one person. This is the same blaming attitude people get when a woman wants to abort a pregnancy ("she should've used protection"). Frankly, it's very mysogynistic. In any relationship, both a woman AND A MAN have a responsibility to use protection if you don't want a child. The fact that she's european also doesn't matter, it's not like south korea is some poor country where men can't get a hold of anticonception.
You also make her out to seem like a gold-digger, someone who entrapped him in a marriage by purposely getting pregnant - this is again mysogynistic.
They're in a consensual, happy relationship and now that a child is on the way, they decided to make their relationship even more binding through marriage. Also, NO ONE knows whether this child was planned, kinda unplanned or a complete surprise. But from all accounts it seems like they're both over the moon. So I ask you sincerely, what's so sad about that?

Evidently, Korea is not good enough for him.
Wow, why so bitter? It's rather common for people marry foreigners (even I have two aunts who married foreigners). Or are you of the opinion that people should only marry people of the same nationality (or worse, the same ethnicity)???

He's just a human in a relationship with someone who makes him happy, that should really be all there is to say here. Whether you like them or not, I honestly don't really care, but I suggest you do some self-reflection and find what is really bothering you so much.

Hahahaha, no offense taken. A person must be truly desperate to think of Belgium when looking for places to hide 😆 If it were me, I'd go to some sunny place!

Title Reborn Rich
I'm scared of watching the last ep because of all the comments. Among all the shows in my cw list, I was only…
The ending is not by any means bad; it wraps up a lot of loose ends and explains a lot of plot points from the very first episodes. However, for a show that focused on Jin Do Jun's story more than Hyun Woo, it feels very painful to suddenly see his story come to an end in episode 15 and to go back to Hyun Woo's in the final episode in such a way. I think that's why so many comments are so negative: they wanted Do Jun to achieve his final goal and live happily ever after. The key thing to remember is that essentially Jin Do Jun and Hyun Woo are the same person, and so because Hyun Woo is happy at the end, so is Do Jun in some way. Keeping this in mind will make the last episode easier to watch and accept =)

I'm not too sure about it, but I think it indeed went back to DK. (Therefore they call it 'bait'). Do Jun's borrowed name shares are likely to be much more than those 2% though.

Can someone explain what was being said in the first 7 - 10 mins of episode 15. It went above my head.
In the last episode, Do Jun sold Soonyang Card to his uncle Dong Ki for 1.6 million, half of which he paid immediately. Because he couldn't pay the rest at once, Do Jun asked for a collateral (2% of soonyang coorporation) in case of non-payment due to bankrupcy. Then Soonyang Card went bankrupt, resulting in Dong Ki making huge losses and not being able to repay the second 800 million. The 2% will now likely end up in Do Jun's hands. This is where Young Ki comes in. He offers to pay off the 800 million in exchange for the collateral, so that the 2% shares become his in the case of bankrupcy. However, since the 2% is theoretically Do Jun's to sell, he is free to ask a higher price. Since he knows what Young Ki truly wants is chairmanship, he asks for double the amount. Because Young Ki getting the 2 % depends on Soonyang Card going bankrupt, Young Ki now has no motive to bail out Soonyang Card from its financial troubles.

Now as for this episode. Soonyang Card (and some other card companies as well) are broke because they gave out credit cards to people who cannot afford to pay back debts made with them. As this is a serious crisis for the country and many citizens as well, the government intervenes by looking for a suitable third-party buyer; they want to prevent true bankrupcy from occurring as this reflects badly on them as a government as well. In other words, they want to 'normalize' the financial situation of the Soonyang Card. The first scene is thus a negotiation between the president's representative, a financial supervisory authority of some kind, the creditors of Soonyang Card, and Miracle Investment as potential buyer. However, Miracle claims not to be interested. Thus, the government representative states that he will then declare suspension of business, meaning bankrupcy is unavoidable (which is what creditors hate as it means they won't get their money back so you see them complaining).
Then follows the blame game: the president's representative blames the financial supervisory authority for this current situation; the financial supervisory authority blames the last government and thus this one as well. This is when Miracle Investment steps back in. They say they will take some of the responsiblity for the current situation (by buying Soonyang and Daeyoung card), on the condition that the government installs a new rule, the 'personal workout rule'. How exactly this works, I'm not sure, but in any case, it aids people in paying back their debts, thereby solving the financial problems of Soonyang Card. Thus , the collateral never becomes Do Jun's, and therefore is never sold & transferred to Young Ki.

This means that Do Jun essentially does the following steps:
1) made his uncle Dong Ki bankrupt while earning 800 million through the sale of the soon-to-be bankrupt Soonyang Card
2) used the 2% collateral as bait for his uncle Young Ki, who now wants Soonyang Card bankrupt to get the collateral. This sets the stage for Do Juns takeover of Soonyang Card and its financial recovery.
3) is able to get Soonyang card for cheap due to its financial troubles.
4) resolves the financial troubles of soonyang card, so that all debt is paid back.
5) because Soonyang card is now healthy again, the 2 % collateral is no longer Do Jun's to sell. Thus, Young ki ends up with nothing.
6) with the money earned from selling Soonyang Card to dong ki, Do Jun buys the borrowed name shares his grandfather had set aside => he becomes the largest shareholder of soonyang corporation while Young Ki is not paying attention
