100%, I also miss Mudeok. But it's remarkable how much the actress playing Buyeon reminds me of Mudeok, she's doing a great job at imitating Naksu's personality and mannerisms
I think the directors intentions were to showcase her naive and innocent personality when Dojun was alive. But,…
I see nothing wrong with her being more innocent compared to her older self, I like her the way she is! It's just that I wish she was more developed/had more screen time.
I actually like just the presence of such character. Making it not connected to the whole plot right away is breathe…
That's also true, but I would like her to at least have some more screen time... now it feels like she is just there as a tool for the plot to be used whenever it suits the screenwriter
Many people here hated the FL yesterday because of 'believing the false tip'. No one praises her today because she didn't. I'll post an unpopular opinion then: I actually like her, and I wish they would make her a bit more relevant and not just only when they need her to do something for Do Jun's plots.
Do Jun says whatever happens has to happen. He just have made that mindset because of his mother when in reality…
He could not have prevented 9/11 even if he tried. Say he sent an anonymous tip. Do you think anyone would take that seriously? Maybe nowadays they would (hindsight and experience), but back in 2001 I don't think so. Say he sent a tip with his own identity. He would not be able to give any proof, so again, they wouldn't take it seriously. And then when 9/11 happened, he would have been arrested for terrorism - because how else could he have known in advance? So no, it would not have made the slightest difference.
Aside from that, saying he should have done something to prevent 9/11 is similar to saying he should stop any bad event, in any country. That's pretty much impossible to do. It also reminds me of the dilemma of 'would you kill hitler if you went back into time'? First, someone else might do another terror attack if 9/11 failed (which he would have no way of preventing because he changed history). And we are not even talking about the fact that the world after a failed 9/11 would also look different due to the lack of post-9/11 policies, and this could be for better or for worse. Secondly, Yoon Hyeon Woo of this no-9/11 world would also not know to prevent 9/11 when he becomes Jin Do Jun, thereby, 9/11 would happen once again.
This all to say: preventing past tragedies is the subject of many other time-travel tv-series and movies. But here, it wouldn't have made any sense for him to do so from his own perspective, and from the perspective of this story.
Bruh, the investigation was poorly done. The tip was actually true, it's just the FL who doesn't know how to do…
Part of it may be blamed on her indeed for her lack of experience. But to be fair, Do Jun also shares some of the blame for being so damn suspicious to any outsider with eyes and a brain, like FL happens to be. Because Do Jun doesn't tell her the truth and basically manipulated her to tank his aunt's stocks (albeit with a true tip), it's very understandable that FL would choose to focus her investigation on him. She has no reason to trust him at this point as he basically used her. Eventually, she'll investigate further and discover the tip is true after all; but investigating things takes time, and everything seemed to happen in only a few days. So fair is fair, I feel they share the blame here; and she will likely still discover the truth sometime in the next 2 episodes.
I'll post an unpopular opinion then: I actually like her, and I wish they would make her a bit more relevant and not just only when they need her to do something for Do Jun's plots.
