awwww, ty! I was on here 2 months ago or so, and posted a long ass comment, but for personal reasons I wasn't online for a while. I wasn't a very active commentator, love reading other's opinions though

I just finished watching KP a few days ago, and because I have some free time rn, I decided to share some of my opinions, I'd love to discuss w/ y'all.

1. Technically I don't like what Vegas did to Pete. Like just morally and everything. But also?... wtf I ship them too so much? In the last three episodes i gotta admit I skipped scenes every now and then, however NEVER any vegaspete scenes.
2. I liked the pairing KimChay, especially their chemistry, ahhh but I don't think it was done as well as it could've been done. Their story wasn't as good as I'd hoped for it to be.
3. Tbh I was a bit tired of Kinn by the end, and yes I shipped Kinn and Porsche, but I was also just not so interested in them by the end. I was also way too invested in VegasPete to care that much
4. ngl, if it weren't for vegaspete, I would've skip watched the entire last 4 episodes
5. Kinn's older brother confused me (forgot his name). Like how did he always know when something was wrong? For example, how did he know that Pete had not returned home to his grandma when no one else was worried? I also think it would be cool if it turned out that he'd just been acting, and that he wasn't actually crazy, but I don't mind either way.
6. Too much drama at the end about the family thing, and the changing POV about what happened when Porsche's father died was confusing. Also, the mother was just magically alive? Like not actually magically, but I just thought it wasn't the most realistic thing that she had been alive all that time
7. Did KimChay get together in the end?
8. I thought Vegas died? from the gunshot? but then he woke up in the hospital? (last ep)
9. Some parts of the ending were a bit too mysterious and rushed, like how the hell did Vegas contact Porsche? And what did Kim find out?

Despite some of my harsh comments, it's still one of the best BL dramas I've ever watched. I'm just a very critical and opinionated person ahahaha. I haven't read that many reviews or comments about KP, so idk what people's vibes are on here. Just wanted to mention that none of these are personal attacks towards any of the actors, and that these are only my opinions.

I got a bit of second hand embarrassment from WFKBJ, and also I didn't enjoy some of the scenes with the secondary male lead (sorry its been so long, i forgot his name!) as much.

Fair enough though, I can see why you skip rewatched some of SWDBS.

I often skipwatch the second time, meaning I only rewatch the funniest, the cutest, the most wholesome, scenes etc. Especially dramas can sometimes be VERY long (anywhere between 8 to 40 hours in total, depending on the drama) and especially the longer dramas commonly have skip-able scenes that are needed for context and development of the storyline, but in my opinion aren't always the most interesting. I also like rewatching dramas/movies while doing something else, like drawing.

edit: Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo is a drama i skip-rewatched, however strong woman do bong soon i completely rewatched (with barely any skips) bc it was such a good drama. My favourite scenes from that drama I've rewatched many many times

I think rewatching old dramas (that I watched ages ago) makes me feel very nostalgic and like my young, old, careless self, which i sometimes really enjoy doing, and at the end of the day it also gives me an easy escape. Also because I know the ending I find it easier to stop watching (rather than binge watch an entire drama), so I often rewatch old dramas during stressful times when I can't commit to an entire drama but need some time off

I get that u are upset about something that happened in the book, but plz, i am begging you, i don't want spoilers from the novel. I am not trying to be mean, or boss people around, i really really really just don't want anymore novel spoilers, because i dont want to have expectations for the drama

what i meant is, I the number of comments are increasing. As the series progresses, more people will likely be drawn to the comment section, meaning more comments as things get more intense. anywayyyy I'm excited for the next ep!

I definitely see your point, however I am very conflicted about that scene. I don't think it was ok. That being said, I entered this drama expecting sexual assault, r@pe, toxicity and god knows what else.

So, in summary, I don't mind the scene being in the drama, but I hate Porsche for doing what he did. And I do think it's important for their character, relationship & plot-line development.

So many people haven't gotten their second, either because they were scared of getting vaccinated, or because there country didn't want to/was unable to buy so many vaccines and doesn't have the capacity to vaccinate everyone.

In low income countries, only around 16% of the population has gotten their FIRST vaccine, so just because developed countries have had most people vaccinated a 2nd time, months ago, and are already moving onto booster shots, doesn't mean everyone is that privileged and has had access to that.

btw @Piercedprincessx I'm not saying you're in that boat, I just wanted to say that we should be supportive of the fact that you got your second vaccine, regardless of when other people got their second.
