I think its important to actually have toxic shows, and shows with messed up relationships, triggering themes, etc and as long as their are labelled as that and in an appropriate way, there is no problem with it in my opinion.

What's problematic is when they don't get proper trigger warnings, but that's not the case with KP, anyone who does the tiniest bit of research, or even just reads the trigger warning at the start WILL know that it's going to be f***ed up scenes, triggering content, etc.

at the end of the day it's also just entertainment, people gotta remember that

is this just me, or did anyone else not realise that there were people (aka kinn and porsche) in the pool from the first trailer? only when i saw the uncut trailer did i realise 😂 (i wasn't looking at comment sections or social media about kp or bl at that time bc life reasons)

but at the same time i think it was an important scene for the storyline and character development, and also for us to understand porsche better.
and u know what they say, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. So i guess those scenes might help porsche with his morals or idk.

I'm the same as you. kind of at least. For me the problem is more that I'll have expectations and then if the directors don't include certain scenes i get disappointed.

and also yeah it takes some excitement away for me.

i ALWAYS read the novel/comic/whatever afterwards though if i liked the drama/movie

Just to explain why I don't want novel spoilers:
I don't want expectations for upcoming episodes or the storyline, character development, etc in general, I don't want to know what the original version is like, because otherwise I would get disappointed if it is not as in the novel.
for example, I disliked the Harry Potter movies so much because they didn't include some of my favourite scenes from the book. The movies were really good production wise, but still, I wasn't able to enjoy them to their full potential because of reasons listed above.

So I'm literally begging you, please, add novel spoiler at the top of your comment, even if it's just a sentence or two about the book

Oh yeah the reviews for ocean likes me have been sooo mixed. I only watched ep 1 (I too am juggling too much), and it was interesting. But you know, I am all up for interesting. I am really happy when the dramas aren't your typical plot or storyline, but... idk about this drama. I don't like judging dramas until they are halfway through the expected episodes in general (and for a drama with many episodes, not until ep 10), just because I don't think it's fair to judge everything based off the start, despite that, you sometimes get feelings for dramas, you know? Sometimes you just click with characters in a way?

Also, do you recommend watching the teddy bear drama currently airing? (sorry I forgot the name).

Well the trust issues might have to do with the fact that Porsche is constantly misbehaving and steps out of line? --> that's what we've been seeing all through out ep 1-3. And trust issues are really hard to understand for those who don't have trust issues i guess

Also just curios, how do you know that Kinn wants to quit? Also why would he want to quit after having sex? Do you think it was no consent?

tbh i can see them still not rusting each other even if they have sex regularly.

Also to me the escape scene (assuming the scene where they are pointing their guns at eachother is them trying to escape, which seems likely), looks more like they are at Kinn's house and intruders managed to make their way in, rather than them escaping from another place after being captured?

fair enough. ep 1 of ocean likes me was kinda weird, but I am all in for a weird and different plot, i find it refreshing. Haven't watched ep 2. Even if I don't like it, I'll continue to watch it in support of HOLLAND.
I have not seen either, both are on my to watch list, and I'll probably watch them soon!

I loved Until We Meet Again, but I don't mind if you didn't. The topic was quite triggering, and there were parts of the drama which annoyed me at times, but overall it gave BL watchers such a new experience, and it was the first drama that really highlighted the homophobia and the effect that that can have? Maybe that's just me.
I' curious though, what didn't you like about Until We Meet Again?
