I think Ji hyuk kinda (?) gave up because 1) Jiwon kept on refusing him and his help, plus he assumes Eun ho may have a better chance at her after seeing the flower bouquet scene (since he was Jiwon's first love after all, and will live longer than him), and 2) it seems to me he thinks it'll be useless to fight his engagement with this Yura since Jiwon only wants him to be her confidant.
Really enjoying this so far. Missed this kind of kdrama romcom feel. Looking forward to next episodes. I’m torn between wanting to binge-watch this or undergo the weekly torture 😅

I haven't watched both dramas. Did the ML or another male character attend to them while they were on period? For me, male characters attending to female characters while on period in historical drama context was what's nice.

FL's Master Pei Yin gave her a ring so that she'd appear like a man to others, esp to ML. Pei Yin allowed ML to finally see her as a female in later episodes. I'm wondering if it's lost in translation that she'd only appear as man to ML

To be fair, once she was in a bride gown, and without a veil, there's only a limited people who can see her. First of course is the groom who was drunk. Quite rare to have outstanding faculties while one is drunk I may say. The second possible group were the kidnappers watching over them but I don't think they'd really mind and be flawless about it since they only wanted a stand-in for the night. There was a third group however which recognized her and called her a lady: the groom's guards(?) waiting at the door. I don't recall which episode this is. They addressed her as the wife/lady when they went out during the wedding night. They again recognized her as the wife/lady when she accompanied ML while he was drunk.

Yey! Really hope this is true. Have been rewatching LLTG. By the time this re-edited version comes out, my mind would have been cleared out and I can get to enjoy this again with new surprises. Will come back to this page then :))
