I've also seen a video or a post (can't remember where) saying that Hao Chen isn't even ML's son. That is, Fang Lei fabricated DNA test to manipulate ML. Really? I haven't seen much at all even though I'm subscribed to several Tencent/WeTV Youtube channels and Instagram account because I've been waiting for other dramas. I actually thought it may be canceled because of Lusi's health issues late last year and succeeding news. I recall checking this MDL page while fervently waiting for new episodes of Legend of the Female General (LOFG). LOFG was really hyped (And I love it!). In fact, LOFG remains to be in the banner of the WeTV & Tencent Youtube accounts, and pinned in Instagram accounts to this day.

Was it teased to the max? I thought there was no proper promotion and was surprised when it was released. I mean there was no announcement at all for its release date even in Tencent's Youtube and Instagram accounts, and only saw here in MDL that it was already released.
I was wondering about the slight drop in MDL rating and how this drama already had few reviews when it was just released today. Curiously, the review with the low rating doesn't even make sense - even English-wise. And then I discovered the power of "Other reviews by this user" which hinted fanwar and insecurity🤣 I guess we'll see more trolls🧌 very soon on this page especially that this drama has a high heat index despite the surprise release and even without a proper promotion 🤣🤣🤣

The way this drama is goes opposite of the novel, in that it was FL who fell/noticed first... 😞( Though you did mention they just took inspiration from the characters and different plot.) I like ML chasing after FL first troupes. Haha
