can someone explain why after the competition in eps 25, during the dinner with the team zhaolusi didnt say thank…
I think it's best to wait for the next episode to be able to conclude whether or not FL thanked ML, too. They're still at the celebratory dinner when the episode ended, right? 😉
As a vertical drama watcher, I am highly suspicious of that paternity test. And if it is indeed fake, it was Fang…
Same thoughts. In fact, when I was re-watching some episodes, the part where Fang Lei asked ML why he didn't wait for her (of course delulu thinking ML ever liked her) and reminded him that they'll have a connection because they're blood-related (to the effect that she can be upgaded from aunt to stepmom), this fake son-fabricated DNA test all under Fang Lei's manipulation spoiler came to my mind
Him painting the dragon head green, fang lei's voice in paternity test etc
I read somewhere that yes Fang Lei fabricated the DNA test to get a continued connection with ML (recall she asked ML why he didn't wait for her, and continues to remind him of their supposed blood-related relationship.) and manipulate him (tried to keep reminding ML of his dead sister). Someone even suggested that the scene where FL hugs ML in the staircase post-divorce filing, is that period where this lie about Haochen being his son unravels plus Dad health problem and company problem
What is Kuyun & Yunhe? I am not from China and see everyone citing these numbers. So can someone explain?
Yunhe measures performance in online platforms. Kuyun measures TV broadcast. (LA is also picked up by a TV channel.) Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm not from China too but got some sense of what these are after years of watching cdramas. So I'll post here instead @arpar's reply to my other post which touches on Yunhe: "Heat index and yunhe viewership numbers (for online platform streaming shows) are what the production companies and pretty much all. those in the cdrama industry use to judge a shows performance. This show not only has the highest heat index for tencent in 2025, and top 6 all time. But also the viewership on yunhe is insane, 70+ million daily views.
Yunhe is the industry standard in china to judge a shows viewership, what all the experts and production companies and everyone uses. For context anything 40-50 million is a hit, 70-80 is insane. Only 5 shows ever according toot yunhe have got 100m daily views on an online single platform. So maybe yeh thesdoes not have much competition, but there have been other hyped up shows with big stars, that had little competition and didn't even get close to the numbers of LA. I find data and stuff like that of cdramas really interesting so I normally keep track.
They don't tell you for sure what goes into heat index, but morally mostly its viewership numbers, but also social media engagement, and trending popularity, but mostly its viewership based."
Any update on the heat index LA reached tonight? I was wondering if there was a drop or continues an upward trend
Thanks everyone for your reply! I just came across a blog post somewhere that LA achieved such high heat index due to lack of competition. So I was wondering about its merits (that is, blog attributing high heat index due to lack of competition), and how LA is faring now given recent release of a costume drama in a different platform.
(To be honest I thought it was an unfair assessment given that LA was just airdropped and with no proper promotions.)
I'm curious about what the heat index means exactly - could someone please explain? Does it correspond to number…
From what I understand, basically it's Tencent's measure of the drama's popularity and engagement which combines different factors. I suppose those (number of views/ new subscribers) will count, but should be more than those.
I think he loves her but just not aware of it . Sometimes you don't know what you value until it's gone.
I was re-watching a couple of episodes and I think ML also has yet to fully move on from his dead ex-GF, triggered by Fang Lei's schemes. This separation between FL and ML leading to hints of yearning for FL kind of suppresses whatever his ex-GF has hold of him, especially now that he realizes FL's true character despite the lies.
I see so deleted everything in the account but not blocked him at least? (Sorry for asking this question. I don't have a good idea on the social media context.)
