You are a bit harsh, yes since episode 16 there are more and more weird things or bad plot but it is still quite good.

I prefer the first part of the show (because there are a lot of things to show and that I really love how they evolve each other turning around the other) but never forget it is based on a novel and the novel gets weirder each page
