I think problem with their marketing strategy is this: they never said the movie is a condensed version of season…
They did, though? Two months before the movie was released, they uploaded a video on their youtube that basically said they originally shot for s2, and while filming they saw that they could use their other scenes to create a movie as well. And even the trailer for s2 that was released after the movie indicated that you would just be seeing more of the stories of the other characters, and unlocking some new scenes. Point is, they've always been upfront that the movie and s2 run concurrently with each other, and they've never said otherwise. Links below if you want to see for yourself:
Why does Cheng Ting Fei take Chen Ming Feng's identity when he goes to uni? I don't understand how it benefits…
Thanks for the reply! I did understand the part where Cheng Ting Fei used Chen Ming Feng's identity to enroll in a university, and that the father (as the principal) helped him do it. I just thought I missed the explanation on why Cheng Ting Fei did it in the first place. From the responses I've gotten here so far, it seems that the reason was never really given.
Why does Cheng Ting Fei take Chen Ming Feng's identity when he goes to uni? I don't understand how it benefits…
Du Cheng and Shen Yi are police that have to solve cases, right? I'm talking about the victims and criminals of a particular case. If you look at the cast list on this website, every name I mentioned is listed there.
Why does Cheng Ting Fei take Chen Ming Feng's identity when he goes to uni? I don't understand how it benefits…
I'm talking about the guy (Chen Ming Feng) that assumes three identities and then kidnaps his girlfriend (Hua Mu Yao). He said he did it because Cheng Ting Fei pretended to be him to finish university, and his girlfriend's dad (Hua Yun Bin), who is a principal, helped him do it. I don't understand why Cheng Ting Fei pretended to be Chen Ming Feng. Why did he change his name to Cheng Ming Feng and copy his handwriting? Why couldn't he complete university with his own identity?
I'm a little confused with episode 8. Can anyone can clarify this for me? Will post my question below in a spoiler.
Why does Cheng Ting Fei take Chen Ming Feng's identity when he goes to uni? I don't understand how it benefits him? Or whether there is a reason he does this? Any insight to this would be awesome.
So I'm almost always never for season 2s because I'm all about the pining, and I usually lose interest once the mains get together. But I feel like I haven't gotten enough of these two yet? I really need to see more of them being boyfriends, because the little we saw was oh so very good.
And I'd also like to see more of Choi Yu Na on my screen, because she is so very gorgeous , and her character is so much fun.
Love, love, love, love this! Easily the best KBL I've watched, and one of the two BLs I've given a rating of 10 to.
what's the difference between gameboys and gameboys Level up Edition???
Not much, really? In the Level-Up-Edition (which came later) some of the first few scenes were re-shot, there were some scenes added to allow for smoother transitions (mainly the characters scrolling through their social media and making comments), and just editing some of the scenes so it would look cleaner.
Were we ever told why Gav is at Aunt Myra's house? Obviously it was necessary for the plot, but at the end of…
I watched season 1 when it was released, so I might not be remembering correctly, but I think Gav was already living in his Aunt Myra's house from the first episode, and he was just managing the apartments. In the episode where he and Cairo fight (was it ep. 11?), he comes out of a house (not an apartment), and the post-credit scenes of ep. 13 show that they are in one. If it was mentioned that Gav was living in an apartment in the first few episodes, then I think they tweaked the plot a little to allow for the extension of the series. The company that produced the series originally planned to release only four episodes, but because fans kept clamoring for more, it was extended to eight, then ten, and finally to thirteen.
It was not explained why Wes appeared, but my theory is that he told his parents about wanting to change majors, they had a big fight, and he was kicked out/needed to get away. At that point he already knew Cai was staying with Gav, so he could have gotten the address from Cai himself. I wouldn't fly to someone's place unannounced either, so that detail (and some others) does bug me. However, season 2 is supposed to run concurrently with the movie, so maybe all our questions will be resolved once it airs.
Hi all, I have taken some time to read all the comments below. All of us are free to share our opinions here,…
"It's not for everyone, and of course it isn't perfect, but do substantiate your ideas with coherent thoughts before making any judgments." - Yeah, I disagree. People are allowed to say they dislike a series without needing to explain why. There are hundreds of comments here that exclaim that this is the Best! Show! Ever!, and no-one is demanding that they substantiate their thoughts. And if all the negative comments feel like desperate attempts to bring down the series, then wouldn't you say that all the comments that encourage people to rate every episode and to help this show achieve the highest number of comments desperate attempts to increase the ratings/rankings? Just saying...this demand for an explanation for every negative comment when about 95% of the comments here are positive feels awfully oppressive.
Only season 1 and the special (they have it as a season 2 with 3 eps) are available on Netflix in my country. I'm not sure whether they will add the movie later on as well.
