Just saying, if someone were to write a thesis on this show, I would totally read it. There are just so many layers to it - all the parallels, the symbolism, how each episode title is represented in both literal and figurative ways throughout said ep. And then there are also all the little details in the background (like how the three pictures on Cairo's wall in ep. 13 are of the cities London, Cairo, and Paris); or the acting choices (like how Cai grabs on to his dog tag when he tells Wesley that the person he has to leave behind is Gav); or the directing choices (all the movement in ep. 12). There was just so much thought that went into the show, and there's always something behind every choice they made. So very clever and brilliant.
I'm just really, really happy and grateful that this show exists. All my love and respect to the cast and crew of The IdeaFirst Company for creating something that, I believe, will resonate with a lot of viewers for a very long time. I know it will with me.

Ep 11 is at 8.9 now! Hopefully it continues to rise as more ratings come in. I actually didn't know you could view the rating of each episode until you mentioned it, and was tickled pink to see that all the other eps rated above a 9.
I have mad respect for both Kokoy and Elijah (well, and everyone involved in making this show possible, really). Sir Elmer Gatchialan tweeted that it took Kokoy 27 takes, and Elijah about 30, to do that last scene. Talk about dedication!

I agree with @ichiboi. You do bring up some valid points, but I disagree with your statement on how the show only used big issues for dramatic effect and then moved on. I think you have to keep in mind that ep 10 was the original finale, and so Cai finding acceptance in his family and forgiving himself was the end of this story arc.
I think it would have been good to still see some grieving as well, but given that they only had 3 episodes left (2 now), I understand why they chose not to focus on this.

Ok. So I'm not the best at explaining things, but let me give it a try:
I'd give it a few more episodes. I wasn't too fond of Gav at first either, but his character tones down the flirting and gets more fleshed out in the following eps. I think it was by episode 5 that I felt I understood his character, and ended up really rooting for him.
You will also get introduced to a female character that is, imo, an awesome example of how I'd like to see females represented in all BLs. She's supportive without being invasive, and just a real joy to have around.
Lastly, I'd say stay for the story. I don't want to go into details as it might spoil things for you, but I love, love, love good storytelling. I like it when there are no plot holes, when characters are consistent and developed in such a way that you understand their motivations, and when later episodes call back on previous ones to tie everything up into a perfect little bow. And this series, again, in my oh so very humble opinion, has all of these things in spades.

No problem! The edit was stressing me out, because even though I would have understood if there really was a change in the number of episodes, and ep10 ended pretty much perfectly for me anyway, I was absolutely not ready to say goodbye to this series yet.

The IdeaFirst company announced on it's twitter page that they were extending the series to 13 episodes due to popular demand (https://twitter.com/theideafirst_co/status/1286668168350425090). I'm not sure why this page was edited to say 10 episodes, but it's back at 13 now.
I agree with that simple storyline but you failed to mention it though that what have been shown in the series…
I don't understand why you feel the need to attack the OP? Nothing in his comment indicates that he hates this series. Also, I find it ironic that you're advising the other poster to ignore the OP, when you so obviously can't.
Remember how in ep7, Gav mentioned he would cry when he and Cai would meet? I just think it's funny that most of us were probably crying with them when they finally did.
