No, the pyscho did not rape the FL!!! Very misleading info. Only kidnapped her and dragged her first into the waters --- tried to drown her by pushing her head in the water and then later shoved her into car & tried to drown her in the ocean (not river)....and matter -- is not Fan Qi who did it but the other guy -- Huang Yan...he's the guy who wants to kill FL. As for Fan Qi -- he did love Xiao Xiao - but the wrong timing/wrong way -- he was desperate to try to kill Lin Shen b/c of jealousy as well as paranoia of his so-called brother's death (not real brother -- but still)...he wants to blame someone else about it...hence why the ending fate of his lead to his death too. Kinda sad but what he did --- was just not right. I think he wanted to leave everything & start all over but Huang Yan made matters worst on him esp when he kidnapped Xiao Xiao...and made him go after Lin Shen. Either way...it was interesting ending -- which gave us a life lesson to learn from about "love".

When did he ever proposes to her -- he only supported her to study abroad in London & show up there. Geez...seriously not even sure what the heck you are watching -- the other 2 side-characters got married. Stop misleading ppl with wrong info!

Let me get this straight! Lin Shen the main lead never raped the FL ever in the whole story! Fan Qi wants to kill Lin Shen - not blame him for something non-existent -- he was just overjealous & paranoid about his so-called brother (that he developed a relationship with back in the orphanage) - who died and being forced to make such a decision b/c of Huang Yan's mental state of kidnapping Xiao Xiao & trying to kill her in the ocean by drowning her in a locked car (luckily she was rescued - we don't see this part -- but Lin Shen & Xiao Xiao met each other in the hospital later - after their ordeal of near-death experiences). This drama is worth it -- stop trusting fake viewers comments trying to drag down the ratings here!!

He didn't want her to be kidnapped (actually Fan Qi in someways loves her -- not rape her...I don't know where you get the idea that she gets raped!! She was never raped - just kidnapped and was almost drown in the ocean by Huang Yan!) Fan Qi was on the otherhand trying to kill Lin Shen -- not rape Xiao Xiao. Very misleading comment/post!!!

Xiaomeng is the legit daughter of the Zhou family -- where as Ah Yan is the adopted kid in the family. He belongs to the Lin family. But evenutally they did get married and so he remains a Zhou/Lin family.

Ah Yan -- is actually adopted. Xiaomeng is the legit daughter of the Zhou family. If you watch it -- you will know that in the later episodes.

Yes, almost the last few episodes they ended up with a kid...it's a lot of emotional rollercoaster -- will make you cry a lot -- but in the end, Xiaomeng did gave birth to a baby girl - their daughter and she grew up to be a nice girl too.

Is as if they can't think of any names for their dramas!! Seriously a complete failure! Time to hire someone who knows English -- so that they can think of new names for their dramas for once!

This drama needs a new English Name!! For crying out loud, stop confusing the people who will eventually watch this when it gets released!! Very sad -- naming convention! Too many dramas with the same name is bloody ridiculous & stupid! Give it another name!! >.<

Wow, this drama was definitely worth it. From beginning to end - it was action packed, full of many life lessons in it. Not all dramas need romance that involves kissing, etc. This drama -- shed light on reality more than anything. I love how they focused on friendship more than anything - about honesty, trust, helping one another - as well as others too (rescue team/bodyguard), family, reliability, sensibility, etc. This drama really encompasses a lot of different life experiences. How we learn to forgive others once we find the truth -- how we redeem our wrongs once we commit them, etc. As well, how one is to pursue love in the midst of everything - that "age" is just a number -- and as long as there's true love - it can break all barriers in life's of the "love" world -- that love can be unconditional and willing to lay one's life down to save the other person. This drama definitely has this all and more. Thank you to the producer/writer-author of this drama/director and especially the cast too!! Well worth it all -- all 40 episodes! I wish there were more too!

Currently feeling sad about the drama thus far -- as everyone thinks Hou Jue is rich CEO. One he is not...if you watch it...you will eventually realize that he split from his dad's company & life in later episodes b/c he thinks differently than his dad. He prefers to work as a rescue worker than be someone he doesn't want to be...which his dad was trying so hard to force him to do...make him marry someone he doesn't want to b/c "of business/merger" mindset of his dad...everything has a price tag to it... but he actually became poor b/c he doesn't want to be like his dad or rely on him for any reasons. He fails many times in trying to get another job related to what he can do as a building designer/architect. But nobody wants him b/c of his so-called relationship with his dad. Having said that -- I'm sure if we watch further his life "will hopefully" get better. As for Shiyi -- she continues to work as a bodyguard -- doing what she loves most. To her, Lan Qi is just a friend -- she has no interest in him and also doesn't want to work for him either -- despite her mother's protest/demand. She cares for Hou Jue -- as a bodyguard/mentor but so far -- their relationship hasn't gone beyond that -- despite Hou Jue at times wants her to be his g/f. She never responded. May be in the future there may be a chance -- but for now...they are not together -- Hou Jue let her go b/c of Shiyi's mom demand that he does so...b/c he's poor.

Well, why does it matter -- if most dramas have this pattern?!? If you don't like it, then don't watch it. There are others who still like it -- whether it's cliché or not. As well, not just Cdramas - almost all countries dramas are about the same...it's ppl like you that would not give any appreciation to those who put a lot of energy in acting in the drama or whatnot...and try to prevent others from watching it...

Well, that was a pretty good drama overall. Ppl like calling every drama a cliche --- and puts down the drama without even seriously watching it. If you don't like it, move on....only watch it if you want to. I enjoy all the episodes of this drama -- and I considered some areas a bit fluffy at times, but so what?!? Go watch the drama yourself & decide -- don't allow other people's comments/opinions stop you from watching any dramas at all. Actually, in the final episode I actually cried a lot too -- and was really touched by what happened to both the main leads. Whether you like it or not, I enjoyed it and if I rate it -- I would give it a high mark for a job well done to all the cast members in this drama.

One, I dunno if you even watched the drama at all. The main FL is around the main ML, b/c she's his bodyguard who is hired by his dad - who is the CEO of their company. Those who betray the company is obvious -- if you actually watched the drama itself. Another point - the synopsis of this drama above is incorrect. The main FL never married to her ex-b/f and she never had a child either. As for who will betray who -- just wait & see...as I never trust "trailers" for the next episodes of a drama - b/c they are always wrong & very misleading. I have seen trailers for a different drama before -- and what they show in the trailers are completely off-track/false information. So, just wait & see how the drama goes before making any judgments on a drama itself.

Finally the 2 fully episodes of this drama has been released by YoYo Channel via Youtube but the subtitles (autogenerated) are so incorrect/off. As well, the release date isn't actually until today (Dec 25th 2021)... Therefore, ep 3 and 4 are not available yet. Plus the synopsis is totally wrong -- she's not pregnant -- she had been training for her security job all these times...there's no way she can have a kid in the story...wrong information!! Plus she's not even married yet! No divorce needed... Only has an ex-bf who cheated on her through their so-called 3 years relationship. So, please fix the synopsis -- information!! Very misleading with incorrect info!!
