I really like the FL character. Anyone can recommend drama with similar character as FL (cold, not dumb and cutesy,…
Also any of these type of awakening dramas, where the main character doesn't have any power or are useless (good for nothing). Fights Break Sphere, The Great Ruler (has Cheng Xiao), Martial Universe, there are many more. Search for tags like fantasy wuxia, you'll see some good synopsis.
If you are looking for a c-drama that has good fights, this is one of them, there many scattered throughout the series. If you are looking for more, look elsewhere.
First 8-9 episodes or so are okay, she learns some awesome martial arts skills but then once she gets off the…
Gotta use your imagination in this fantasy world, that and go with the flow sometimes, and also every character will not be written/acted perfectly in their role. That being said I agree with you about her martial arts, it's only good when the writers want it to be.
It is Happy ending. They return back to heaven and they are immortal now ?
I'm not sure if there is a book or something, but thanks for saying this. I didn't understand just one thing at the ending, but now at least I mostly understand it.
I didn't understand how she could still live and why the rock disappeared.
So basically those scenes with the giant lotus is in a different a world right? (immortal realm) Some of the last words she said,"she finally did it". Then he said," I thought I was going to lose you". They were both goners at this point (mortal), so why did he say that? It's because she didn't become the one to ruin the world (Di FeiTian or combined with him or whatever). They destroyed that part of her/it forever.
In order to save her they had to go through that trial. They died in the mortal world, but they returned back to their immortal selves. She was cleansed and they can be together.
So it's happy ending, but I wish they just had a little more explanation.
Honestly I was expecting something else from the trailer. This was not original, not fascinating. And the acting…
Same here, I was expecting something to happen for 75% of the movie. Then all of sudden stuff just started happening that I didn't care about and then it ended. If this was a Part I, then ok I'll want to see the continuation. If that's it, don't other watching this.
Wtf were those 2 endings. I loved ep 39. It made me feel so many emotions and I expected a continuation on 40…
Yeah, those endings were interesting but didn't make sense with how the story was going, and really not needed in this case. Some other dramas definitely need the alt ending treatment, but not this one; stop at episode 39.
Can anyone verify if there's going to be another season? I haven't started it yet, because I want to make sure it is completed.

Hate to love this guy.
