It could be many things, some which we don't know about yet. In addition to this, it also a signal to the ML basically. I feel like he will have to find her later and he'll find her because of the seeds. Also I'm not sure translation you've seen, but she is not completely without senses, however all of her senses are extremely diminished. For example, if she had no senses, she wouldn't be able to see at all. There are quirks, one thing that comes to mind is one seen where she looks at the body she's inhabited and sees that her hands are red and says that she must be cold.
