Human saves fox elder, elder betroths daughter to son with a mental condition (there's a way the fox can heal him), fox daughter is skeptical at first, but they fall in love, in the end they have a child that is rebellious.

Read the manga first, it's pretty good.

I just watch other stuff, then a couple of days before the final episode airs I start watching them.

I'm not sure what you mean by the infidelity. Have you watching Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms or Love and Destiny? Have you seen dramas that have a mortal world arc in them?

If you are already stuck watching Eternal Love of Dream, then drop it. The Aranya arc tests even the most avid fans of that universe.

The thing I hated the most happened near the end, I'm sure you will not like it. The ending is a happy ending at least.

To be fair, this is about Qing Qiu foxes. They also mentioned peaches in this drama. However it seems like this is a story of the people within the fox clan.

I agree with a lot of what you were saying, episode 55 really pissed me off, I lost a lot of respect for those (Lian Song and that other guy), it kind of ruined the ending for me. I thought FJ's decision was a little forced by the writers, but it makes sense.
I'm really curious about why they kept showing her ring at the end, what are they foreshadowing? Sequel? Will evil return? Any thoughts appreciated.

Yeah in all of these Three Lives dramas, the mortal realm part drag on and get a little boring. I mean really, just cut them a little shorter.
