Ahhh. at episode 6 and dont know if I should continue. The FL is supposed to be smart but she walks in with no preparation into the enemy's lair. What kind of silly writing is this. Ugh
Just started - everyone in the drama talking about the FL looking like a high schooler is making me roll my eyes.…
Dropped at ep 5. Too many issues - shouty, clueless FL , the comedy and the really serious stuff arent blended well, and truly the background score is super annoying. Not my cup of tea.

Halfway through and this is turning out to be the best kind of k-drama! Interesting characters, slice of life look into hotels, and last but not the least slow burn, intense romance. Final thoughts now under spoiler comment. All in all, an excellent watch for those who enjoy slow-paced character driven shows. Be ready to swoon over Bae Yong Joon
The early episodes were really tough to watch. Primarily because the DV situation was so realistically done that it becomes rather uncomfortable. Minority view, but the drama really suffered from having Ueno Juri in the pivotal role of Ruka. Her range extends to maybe max 4 expressions so much of the drama's emotional punch was lost.
This was a fun, light watch. Predictable? Yes but the pacing was good, the characters likeable and with no major plot holes or silliness. The fight sequences are surprisingly good, esp those with Mapi. I loved the side characters - ML's parents, MaPi plus Min Ah. All threads wrapped up nicely, if a little conveniently.
The premise seemed interesting (romance between a fortune teller X scientist & overcoming trauma to trust and love) but holy cow, the drama is as irritating as the comments say. The writer really muffed the execution.
The lead pair have zero chemistry and their relationship never feels real. The progression of the "romance" was so so badly done. So many more issues - the FL turns into an idiotic, jealous immature teen a few episodes in, the so called "scientific" experiment is unthinkably cringe & unscientific, there's just only one major plot arc, which keeps going around in circles, the second couples were awful....ugh, I can go on! If I had to say something good - the cases were interesting and Sung Joon's voice is plain dreamy!!!
I dont know why so many complaints & such poor rating... this was a really interesting and well done show. I had…
IMO the only thread left hanging was poor Joo Nam. The Chairwoman/Joseon MIL got what she deserved I suppose - her crime of killing Dol Soe robbed her of her happy ending.

Very slow paced, so I'd label it of a slice of life in terms of the feel. The love story is at the heart of the show. But unfortunately I found the romance that was supposed to be angsty very bland and boring. The couple imo had little to no chemistry. First time watching Jung Woo Sung. i'll be honest, his style of expressing Yang Chil's supposed child-like innocence and joy overdone. But he is solid in the more softer, nuanced emotional scenes. Made me wanna watch his movies. The supernatural arc didnt vibe with me and the drama's approach to highlighting the theme of 'living for the moment' did not resonate with me. And the last 4-5 eps draaaaged. So I am not rating the drama very highly.
This was....interesting. Student-teacher relationships give me the ick, but the focus here was not the school stuff, so I could deal with it. But honestly that's the least of the things that'll make you go huh as you watch the show. The main romance if you can call it that is a bit shallow I agree as we never see it developed, but the angst was done well. Wakui Emi's turn as Tomoko definitely captures the viewer's attention. The main leads faltered a bit in places but not too badly. Unlike others here, I didnt think Fukada Kyoko was terrible, but yes a better actor maybe could have given more depth to Kasumi.
I loved the directing style. And the theme song - it definitely added to the impact of the show's twists.
