what subs are you using? it was clearly conveyed in the version i watched
Hi, I can't help but notice the translated quote that you wrote is from a fansubber that I know. Since you shared the sub links with people here, could you warn them to never publicly share the link and never upload the content on any streaming sites next time? There are thieves stealing the fansubber's subs and uploading it elsewhere - this went against the fansubber's wishes. Things like this will demotivate people to drop the whole project or put it behind a paywall (either way we might never get to see it again). Anyway, let's look out for each other and respect the fansubber's requests. I think it's the least we can do since we all get to enjoy good quality subs from kind generous people like the fansubber who happily share their translated subs. Thanks :)
Thank you so much for this review! i was kinda bummed after finished the drama, but your explanation makes it…
Hi, I'm glad that my review helped in any way. Just noticed the youtube link I placed didnt worked, so I replaced them with a new link. You raised a good point about Mayuko could move a bit at the end, so I rewatched that scene. It was either she faked her condition (but there is no point to do that anymore) or perhaps she unconsciously moved her facial muscles (showing signs of getting better) bcs Naomi's action somewhat triggered her memory.
i can't stop thinking about this movie! there is a lot of questions unanswered like who k1lled the little boy…
Kiritani’s rapist and little boy’s murderer was that burned toast who killed Kiritani in the end. Everyone in the gang knew who was the murderer. That’s why Kiritani went psycho mad when he knew his rapist was the same guy who killed the little boy.
Something about this drama doesn't sit right with me after watching 3 episodes. As a viewer, I don’t feel connected with either Asuka or Shin - perhaps I was hoping for more character depth (other than them boys crushing on one another) or maybe I expect something more from the plot (yes it is still episode 3 ). The colour of the drama seemed too bright/ pale at some scenes. Other than that, Asuka starts to grow on me and hope to see him being nosy around Shin more. I’m looking forward to Hiiragi (Inaba Yu) in the future episodes, so will keep tuning in and see how this character contributes to the drama.
that famous last scene in ep 4 was shot continuously with no abrupt cuts for 4 minutes (fyi). It filled with overwhelming mixed emotions of self-denial, confusion, lust, desperation, inner torment, self-condemned, etc. I felt personally attacked by Tatsunari’s performance (it was too good and it was like looking at past self)
Its a nice and slow film to watch on a weekend with family. This Kouki kid is blessed that he didnt get a serious beating for failing his exam instead he gets bento everyday. Jealous
Won Hyung Hoon has a strikingly resemblance with Zico (especially his eyes and nose). I had to check twice making sure it wasn’t Zico who acted in this lovely short drama. The actor, Hyung Hoon added a gentle restraint and motherly flair to his character - which sets apart from the commonly stereotyped rough-mannered debt collector. Both main actors complemented each other well, definitely felt their chemistry in the last few episodes. The soundtrack and cinematography was delicate and pleasing to watch too.
Miki Koichiro (the director) sure does not disappoint when it comes to his production works. He even sneaks in Pornographer (the manga) in episode 1 and shoot the train track scene exactly the same as Pornographer (the drama). Can you imagine the parallel shots? Gosh..
Hopefully there will be a season 2 for this drama and definitely should get this director back for on board. He knows his audience too well.
Hey what do you think of Sekimizu's Mandarin at that scene with the old Taiwanese man? Takeuchi's Malay wasn't…
Hmmm I could understand what she was saying although the pronunciation went kinda off in the middle and got better in the end. It has more emotion and slightly better than her english speech tho
This film is fun to watch especially when the actors speak english, mandarin or malay in some scenes. Really appreciated that the actors tried their best speaking in languages that are foreign to them. For multilingual audiences, this film is a nice treat if you’re interested. The film has quite an interesting journey from start to finish and it left with a heartwarming message (for the Fu family) at the end. I watched it in mandarin subs, but definitely will watch it again once english subs is out.

It’s under the spoiler tag.
It seems that someone posted the full movie (in mandarin sub) on YT (here’s the links: https://youtu.be/8snGOnmsQjk)
Watch it fast, or else might be taken down soon.
