I'm part way through ep 1 (got to the start of the conflict) and am wondering if I should bother? Reading the comments people are saying most of the romance that we get to see is shown between Lin and Korn? And that the ending wasn't great? So is it a happy ending, and if so is it /actually/ a happy ending?
I started the first episode and since it started with such an uncomfortable moment I decided to come here and see what people had to say and I'm glad I did. Disappointed to see that it's not gonna be watchable, but at least I didn't waste my time with actually watching the whole show
I feel the same away about any sequel.. I really hope that they don't create drama like them breaking up.. but…
Yeah, I can't handle unnecessary forced breakups in shows, but I'm typically worried that that's what will happen in sequels to things where all the conflict was already resolved. It's usually because they can't think of any better way to do conflict, but it's just upsetting. Hopefully this diverges from that though! And yeah, I hope to see more Korean BL's with sequels (namely Light on Me and Kissable Lips)

Yeah, the whole scene with the racist depictions was so bad. Someone needs to get this director in check cause it wasn't acceptable the first time and can't keep happening

Definitely. I can deal with waiting. I'm thankful for any official releases at all. But if the story itself is the problem, that's harder to forgive. If thats the case, then that's definitely disappointing since i was really excited for the show, but if it's gonna have unsavory plotlines or gags, it might be best for that to happen. All there is to do is wait and see, I suppose.

I'll say I'm disappointed to hear that there is an issue of colorism in it though. Please, when will they just let dramas be a safe place for people? Everyone should be able to watch these things without being insulted for simply existing as you are. Having to say that feels like I'm stating something that should go without saying, but somehow it's not common sense.
