I agree Hira is annoying to see especially in his relationship with Kiyoi, but I can't ever hate him, cuz he's…
you know who is also struggling and hurting? Kiyoi. i think we all understand that Hira is going through some shit but that does not negate the fact that he's hurting Kiyoi. and if we decide to dislike Hira for that, its not unreasonable
this drama is the wildest show i have ever seen. shit was so crazy i had to take a break halfway to take a breath. its been 6 years and im still not ready to finish it. but like... in a good way, you know? my state of mind needs to be in perfect condition to witness this. maybe my 2025 resolution is to get back to it
if i had an unlimited free time, maybe i would finish this drama. alas, i do not dispose of such wealth which means i have to allocate my time accordingly. while watching this drama, i repeatedly felt like i have already seem thousands stories like this. and its so draggy. i need dramas with something ... more.
after 5 years of having this drama on hold, i just decided to drop it. previous commenter has summed my feeling well. it wasnt bad, the actresses were all gorgeous, but the drama just was not grabbing my attention in any significant way. There was no reason for me to keep watching or want to get back and finish the drama for past 4+ years. the intro song by Elaine is still a banger, though!
sheesh... when romcoms used to be all 16 episodes long, i kept saying that last 4 episodes were redundant and not so well written. now, romcoms are 12 episodes long... and i still feel like last 4 episodes are useless. what have we come to....
is it really worth the hype? the plot sounds cliche so what exactly makes it different from other dramas?
its enjoyable. nowadays, in the era of romantic dramas not being too good this one is one of the bests. its a cute first love story. easy to watch, main leads are gorgeous and act well, the story is super sweet (though sometimes cringy). im halfway through and i watch occasionally episode here and there - i wouldnt say it is a revolutionary drama but as a fan of romcoms, its a romcom done very well
havent been coming to mdl lately, but Study group is so good it brought me back lol
Chief Kim
Gaus Electronics
Work Later, Drink Now
for some very niche comedies:
Higuma
Saint Oniisan
