good thing about these short japanese bls is that most of them are short. if its good, your time flies by. if is bad, you dont suffer for too long. if its average. you watch it and move on without feeling like you wasted too much time. and this one was average. i didnt hate anything about this (i disliked some stuff, yea) but i also didnt really love anything about this. ameiro paradox exists and i have no beef with it
It is airing in Thailand, not Mainland China. The show is Chinese but it is set in Thailand due to the ban.
I am confused - is the goal to debut thai girl group (which will promote mainly in thailand) or chinese girl group (and this is just a way to bypass the ban?)
it is almost fascinating to watch Kiyois tragic love with Hira. Im calling it tragedy because whats worse than being watched all the time but never actually being /seen/? No matter how many times Kiyoi asks, pleads, cries, he's just never being heard... i suppose in the final installment, this will be resolved but as of now, i am very frustrated. overall, i liked this season more than the first one and i feel like it gives retrospectively more depth to the first season as well. ... but man, Hira is really very annoying character to watch....
this had a depth of mediocore wattpad fic but thanks to the "historical" setting it managed to differentiate itself at least a little from other mediocore bls. it was actually very easy to watch. A simple fluffy drama for a moment when you just want to just switch off your brain. i didnt hate it but it definitely has many places for improvement
oh my god. the first scriptwiter wrote the reply series, and the other work later, drink now. i hope this goes through but seeing two year old comments makes me feel not so hopeful haha
"So, when I look back, I can think, 'So far, what I've done isn't so bad. I've worked hard.'" You have done well, Sun Kyun. You have worked hard and you have done so many good things
This is an interesting review. But I just wanted to make a correction; they live together for 4 months not 4 years…
are we really sure they have been living together for 4 months only? the first episode literally ends with "it has been 3 years" since the proposal of the cohabitation, in episode 4 we learn that Yo introduced the mangaka friend to Mizukis forecasting show "more than one year ago" - made me assume they must have been living together at that point. But then Yoh does indeed states the episode 7 that it has been "4 months" but idk... something just isnt mathing in this math š¤ EDIT: i did some deeper googling (cause this matter was just bugging me at the back of my brain) - the timeline seems to be just like estelll discribed - the general consensus seems to be that they are living together only for 4 months, just wanted to set this straight (gay)
im trying to gather my thoughts on this and like... i dont know how. the comment by user "ten" sums up my thoughts well enough so i just quote them: "this was good in a fucked up guilty pleasure kinda way." somehow, i binged it but im also very dissatisfied with the lack of ... resolution between the leads? they clearly love each other yet they are so toxic to each other, kinda fucked up but i guess go off, kings. seems like both are comfortable with this(?) so who am i to judge...
one of those shows that walks the thin line of crazy and genius. the first 5 episodes is okay but the other half of the show was ludicruous 8/10. too bad its not anywhere on youtube as i would love to share some great scenes with people outside drama-watching community
well this is an adaptation from a manga/anime, like alot of other dramas like this are in mdl, why wouldn't belong?
it really wasnt presented as a coproduction (i know, oda was involved, yada yada). it was also quite americanized (story simplified and changed). it just feels odd that this show is included in mdl as well. definitely doesnt fit the vibe of mdl
does this belong here on mdl??? questionable. will netflix version of three body problem be here as well? hmmmmm
anyways, i really enjoyed the adaptation, the casting was great. not sure how i feel about the changes in story but lets see how it goes in the future seasons. i hope this adaptation will go at least until Water 7. (and if they dont cast the sexiest man on earth as Ace, im gonna throw hands!)
I cant believe i waited 5 years to watch the last movie of the series. I remember bare minimum of the previous story but this movie was still so good. i had a great time, again it game me the warm fuzzy /feelings/. loved it. i think the big part of why this movie hits so good is the ost. that was truly magical
