I agree its harder to connect with characters or story itself with this kind of filming&editing. BUT Fangs of Fortune was a lot more easier for me to connect emotionally also my brain..
These fox spirit series feels like as if script had 5 pages and they made that into long episode dramas.
Sure it has so many loved actors with dead gorgeous costumes/wigs, world build filming sets were also interesting to see YET I always end up feeling its a big shame scripts of them were this way...

Im rewatching this for the first time after finishing years ago. I realize how full the script, casting and acting feels!! I was so unfair to this drama I realize that now after recent year dramas' scripts...
I feel like If I live long enough, I would also miss the dramas I dont like right now because no matter how many fave celebs of mine they cast, script always fail to deliver in the end OR on second half especially...

This has one of the worst and unfair second lead syndrome in Cdramaland...

Im going to be honest I dont give a demn about story but will be here to watch my girl Li Landi in these gorgeous costumes while I also enjoy watching Ao Rui Peng!
Im kinda surprised how lux, detailed & high quality costumes looks for this genre..

rewatching for 3rd time *-* the awkwardness, childish naive feelings, warm friendships and lovely slowwwwww progress between leads goes very well with summer weather. Makes me miss my teenage years and summer vacations with old neighborhood kidsT^T

I miss watching him in costume dramas what a shame...

Im rewatching some bits and part because I miss all my faves whenever I try new series... Ep 7 is just too much xD Its emotional and progress on lead male makes me go kajhsdkjahsdjh while Lead girl asking her bro go to examination in her place and whole uncles knowing the guard while he screams he aint hımself LMAO XDDDDDDDDD this ep never gets old I swear its always so precious! been years for me...

Some says its slow in the beginning but for me first half is the one that made me like this serie and LOVE the characters. It gives older drama vibes, teaming up slowly getting to know each other and feelings growing between all 4 of them. Very light hearted yet emotional at parts its heartwarming.
BUT second half is kinda let down... I just rewatched (first half mostly)

hahaha year of learning I guess... its been a decade I finally learned my lesson...

Love this theme and its going to be my first time watching this theme in Kdrama land I think...

I was scared why there wasnt any new roles cause he was that worthy in 'Business Proposal'. Then I learned he is still in military Im glad to hear that!
I hope he can take costume drama roles & older character roles in modern dramas. He would do great with noona dramas too *-*

IF this whole drama keeps the same energy as trailer, it would be great! BUT I know better from Cmodern dramas so I dont have high expectations.
Definitely gonna binge this I couldnt wait 1-2 eps each day or week it would break the momentum of story.

Gong Seungyeon finallyyy I will be there for her and I also have a soft spot for Kim JaeYoung from #SecretBoutique so it will be a pleasant watch
BUT I dont feel anything for the story or characters....
At least they have shots in nature another plus!

I will be there for Li YiTong bae! been missing watching her in costumes I also have lost of faves in side roles like it would be tiring to write all of their names correctly...

sameeee I was so surprised to see melon post first but then they shared official news with opening ceremony vids!! I was like Im so lucky how did that happen XD hahahah
And after that I was surprised even more because they filmed and edited so so fast!! Im used to waiting for years for costume dramas you know...

This story and characters have special place in my heart! I have seen some more famous series' writing lacking and deserving less points but thats mydramalist for you...
In past this site's numbers for series were more relatable & believable like 10+/- years ago...

Just saw the video update! I thought they would hold this back longer so this is a good surprise for me😍 they collect so many light hearted moments I wonder how hurtful parts looks like!
