I KNEW IT!!! Its been so long since I feel like this pairing of lead characters, their energy as they bicker like 50 years old married couple (even way before becoming a couple lol), the way they told storyline for female lead's dream job, how she works toward her dream while male lead being judgy corner in her life with actually thinking about her but at first few eps you would think he doesnt.... ALSO the acting talent from both leads, its so natural and sincere, very straightforward they dont hold back while acting and really have this chem between them in between intense argument scenes but then they are like 2 silent cat enjoying sun bathing XD Its the exact similarity with Cdrama: Master of My Own! I cant imagine having another people playing these leads in both dramas their acting sit that well with their characters.
ps. I forgot to add, Ive never watched a better written 'TSUNDERE' male character until I watched these 2 series. Esp in JI it was more detailed and they gave their viewers a chance to see where he was coming...

I thought I was jaded over a decade that I was dropping series or just skip-watching only some parts of them. I couldnt really call that as watching esp with all those frustration and disappointment feelings for scripts. This made me see I wasnt jaded for asian dramas they just dont try their best while writing,directing & acting. I dont even want to change any single moment from what Ive watched.Everything felt like as it should be. This is the story & character I will always remember whenever I watch Song Yi nd Cheng Lei now. They ve got chance to portray characters I will rewatch many times thats it. Im so proud and lucky to have both as lead here.

Im not surprised about many accusations for celebrities by now. I just felt disappointed that many of bullies didnt even go back to those people before going on stage to be known later on. Just go and apologize sincerely is it really so hard really... I dont get high ego people. Will it kill to show a lil bit of regret of past situations... Wouldnt it be easier to move on slowly from wrong doings/unfair times by both parties even if apology comes so late.... Just be sincere and you will see the results surely..

I almost forgot there is also Begin Again! Chemistry was so great that even if second part was frustrating for me I still re-watched it for leads and their couple story. Its hard to come by such unique female leads so I was in awe and love with her but on second half writer was drunk obviously... They even made a joke out of that part in drama extra's later on.. Anyway its a worth to watch modern Cdrama if you in the mood for it.

If you are ok with dramatic & slow progress in between couple and their miss understanding (they wont reveal it to either characters or viewers for some time) then I want to recommend 'Here to Heart'. Writing is a low slower than most.Its in workplace. Acting was simply amazing and I couldnt watch either of leads with another actors after that drama chemistry was so believable. Waiting for reveal was worth it for me. There were many people frustrated with how female lead was written though. I have to put a warning she is quite the introvert and mature.Janine Chang was amazing with this kind of character.

I also wonder if they are serıous or real whenever I end up reading similar stuff in Chinese novel world. It happens a lot more than you would think... This kinda stuff doesnt happen to me often while watching asian dramas because its been so long but whenever I watch this guy I have a feeling as if Im watching Wang Hong Yi instead 😅 I prefer his acting especially expressions over WHY tho. Really expressive and not stiff at all.Also quite natural with it.

2 eps in I have zero idea what the heck is going on and where plot is going BUT Mao ZiJun's gaze/eyes are just so nice to watch whatever script he is in!!! Gee his face looks demn serious but his eyes looks so playful-mischievous while at it if he wants to like how?!?!? Its a shame he hardly gets better scripts in costume dramas anymore let alone being a lead... edit after 15eps: They actually wast so much money to film this kind of nonsense writing?! Even if I miss MZJ for years it didnt worth it. Gave me so much secondhand embarrassment as female viewer (cause of fml) and made me feel like a headless fly... why bother
