Just saw some fan vids from filming site of new drama she filming Biao Mei Wan Fu. I know she is always petite and thin but this time its on concerning level of thin. I dont know whats going on lately but most already thin Cactresses even actors are getting more thin than standart thin.. I hope she gets better before it gets more serious like ZLS.

Tried this 3 times, dropped around ep5 every time. Its already harsh enough on ml with losing his beloved like that but lead girl faking to be her sister aka his late beloved... This plot always hurts me enough to drop the serie.
Makes me think of another costume drama where female fakes being/seeing late beloved of king? prince?... he almost lost himself between her lies. thats just aint no romance for me nope.

ML was never be able to stand up to his father not in past not even in present when that vile old man try to stole the kid from his mother, knowing how sick he was! When he learned what kind of schemes went behind he still didnt do anything worthy...

The frustration, sadness, disappointment was so real once they 'put' black dragon spirit into another guy aka the lead guy's body.
It felt as same feeling & time as Kdrama: 'BIG' ending.... with Gong Yoo and Min Jung :') fvk u writers and producer for not being brave enough for some stories.
In my opinion if they didnt put romance in between this kind of story and writing would ve been a lot better than current version.
If this was a cdrama with wuxia or xian xia setting it would have been a lot easy to put this spirit into another body etr stuff but it isnt so...

Yeah I got it. Even if he wasnt there the recent short videos while thy shot those photos the whole vibe is a lot similar to those other drama names.

I just saw the recent update with red costumes and all! They clearly want such strong sense of love& hate concept between leads but they still went after such a younger actress for the role. Why just why seriously... Its not like there isnt another beauty who wouldnt fit the role including looks & talent... I think producer was quite obsessed with his?her own decision that they didnt even give two cents about any other people' values. They had money and they went for it cause they most prob knew her management and fam also would be willing..
Its a shame in my opinion. The concept and vibe from those photos clearly shows what they want from this couple YET I know in drama it wouldnt get that deep or serious because they might end up in bad waters cause of the age difference so they will mellow it.... a shame...

Wake me up when she gets lead roles in costume dramas as she deserves too! Her acting capability surpass many lead actresses with pretty faces...

I can see where you are coming from but I can also see where Ai Mi herself coming from. Knowing this industry for years and all. She looks quite proud and happy in make up trying photos for this drama. I can literally see in her face that she was also one of the reasons why her company,her family was ok with this choice.

I just saw recent photos from Paris fashion week. She looks so thin! She was and is always on petite side yes I know but this time ı found it worrying. Its very similar to the Zhao Lusi's weight loss right before things went serious.. I hope her close family and friends helps her on this matter.

!!! OH MY MIND whenever I watch Xiao Zhan in recent series or shows I thought and felt that I knew his face from somewhere or at least from some character I felt effected by its story. Its been years I feel that way but was so lazy to search his earlier roles.
Today I was feeling like doing a rewatch of some series of Zhao Lusi. I thought this might be it and right now on ep 1 when I saw his face I was like '!!!!!!!!!!! U KIDDING ME SERIOUSLY' oh my nerves I never realize I knew him from here wahhhh he looks like bean and once I saw him, I also realize I was stuck with his character here as second lead for a while :c...

lol nice catches! But its not only those mistakes' fault. Its also writing's fault! IF it was interesting or dramatic enough or it was written better as a script than a story, we wont have time or energy to realize those mistakes that easily..

People who disliked and blaming or dropping it because of female lead needs to take a chill pill. Drama remake didnt do justice to the novel as usual with novel remakes.
The way they execute story from that point, without giving any details on how both lead characters arrived at that time and how they were in past couple of years .... IF those were added many females viewers would have get the hints. Even male viewers who knew how to read the mood/vibe would get it.
There were many details and casual moments between leads even when he wanted to court her friend through her help! There were moments between lead guy and the girl he wanted to chase so we could see how she was not even interested in him was only professional.He was also so 'neutral' for someone who was interested in her.
So when you were reading you didnt feel that '?!' about love progress between both leads.

I would have love to give more details BUT I already forgot most parts of what I read years ago plus I didnt liked second half of novel so I kinda skipped most parts AFTER they got together. Also if I cont to write more there would be spoilers about some stuff.
Anyway I just want to say she said those words when confessing because she tested his feelings & reaction towards her. They knew each other a lot more than they let on but he was acting on and off at times like a game and she was finally done with it all.
They had many subtle and kinda flirty moments between them EVEN when he asked her to court her friend for him... So when that kiss scene happened in novel you felt where she came from and even ur frustration from reading all that was like 'GOOD JOB' or else he was not willing to wake up from that situation at all even when friend already had another beloved and got married to him (if I remember right)
