it is!!! 'The Legends'' is the drama name. But I knew the story from novel called; ''Ostentatious Zhao Yao'' by Jiu Lu Fei Xiang. Zhao Yao was the character of Bai Lu and she nailed it even though they messed up drama's script. If you like reading you should check novel first its almost completed english translation. I just loved how unique and precıous this lead female character was written & Qin Lan's acting was so heartfelt as usual of her<3 Started binge watching this last week it was awesome and catchy in first 20 eps it slowed down around 25eps. But then I suddenly feel like getting tired and sleepy while trying to watch 25+eps x'D I dont know it got draggy on busıness parts and there wasnt enough lead couple scenes leave alone couple together with theır moms scenes werent even enough IF we count this as slice of life serie. Was going to give at least 9 but now I can only click 7 because lead girl character was just what I need from asian dramas, soundtracks were so few but good and there were many known faces ın sıde casting...

awww man I started this because I really wanted to find more WQ dramas! DIDNT thought the couple scenes and cuteness would be this lovable <3 Also the animal spirit edits CGIs werent even so bad when we look at the year its produced wow. I wısh ıt had subs to get sıde storıes better.. broke my heart ın the end for our little lovable fox spirit but was quite realist. After all the couple scenes I wıshed to see them end up together though...
If you search with chinese novel name & author name google shares quite lots of links in original language. MachineTranslate is quıte good for chınese novels in my opınıon. Its really easy to understand after you read more of ıt xD...

FINALLY a historical serie where I can look forward to Xu Kai cause he casted with another fave of mine Jing Tian *-* After watching XK with Bai Lu I cant seem to feel any chemistry with other partners Ive been waiting for a serie like this XD...
To me it wasnt depressing because drama filmed all sisters & their lovelines since they were very young and adult then they aged. So it was more like a reading/watching a full life circle of old people lived in those times you know? Yes there were tears and sad moments but there was also very precıous moving moments too :') the way little sister become so mature and aged that well I was amazed and felt like this wasnt a serie it was that well written and acted by lead stars.
I never seen a director remakıng Hana Yori Dango on this level before!!! I love how he mınd to talk about details and care he felt for this story while talkıng about how he receive the offer to make this manga ınto a drama also a remake of serie.
Da*n its like as if he become actor to play Doomyoji LIKE FOR REAL! Im an old fangirl and cant usually find any new face to feel this amazed about any drama or remake but HYD manga has a special place ın my heart its from my youth tımes x'D what a quilty pleasure that was then Jdorama made into perfection. I checked all versions but Thai version's Doomyoji is just like second universe of Matsumoto Jun'S Doomyoji I CANTTTTT *A* He is such a natural just like him and fits this character so well that now I need some time to adjust myself before watching him in another role X'D
Was planning to binge on this but was only able to take 3 -4 eps. They tried too hard to create humorous & couple moments but it fall flat and forced for me. They didnt even built any character details it felt like someone pushed me rıght ın the mıddle of a story. Lead male character being stiff like a board and actor playıng hıs character stiff as a board didnt help at all... dropped it
