The cast also has solid acting. ML is a little gray, while the FL is such a bad*ss!!!! Kind, but also wise. At first I thought she was too much of a saint and would be naive and gullible. She may be very empathetic but boy can she seriously kick*ss and doesn't put up with bs. She's also really smart and observant! Definitely one of my favorite FLs of all time. Loved the ML's cunningness too. Both leading actors carried their roles so well. It's a slowpaced xianxia, but definitely filled with layers. It's far from boring to me and I enjoyed every episode so much.
