Someone said that LZS will be the 2nd ML awhile back ago? Can someone who read the novel explain that to me?
This I know for sure. Happy ending for the main couple. What I want to know is if they will give a better ending to the second male (Luo Zi Shang), I'm suspecting so. And I hope so.
I don't know. The only drama of hers that I watched was "The Princess Wei Young", which was really good.
I've already read 46 chapters out of a total of 53. In the book, the couple discovers little by little that they love each other. He has in his heart a memory and love for a woman that he will realize after her from his past (the goddess he loves). And she thinks she loves another man, someone she came to save by bringing the death of the male lead in order to save the man she thinks she loves. But in the day to day of living with her target of destruction (the male protagonist), she discovers that she is in love with him. But it happens slowly, as they get to know each other and live together, saving each other's lives over and over again.
Maybe divorced was being mentioned by the CP, because they thought that's the thing that their spouses would love…
Well remembered. That must be it. And it's probably not the true feeling he has in his soul, but he imagines that she wants it. But every time he mentions it, she gets a sad look.
Oh no.. i hope that's not true 😔😔😔But, based on Mr Gu's expression when Jiu Si mentioned Luo obviously…
That's right. Even in the book he emphasizes the similar eyes of the two boys. (As if they were faces in a mirror.). And Gu Jiu Si was the kind of person that Luo Zi Shang would be but fate turned around.

(From book) As for Luo Zishang, in a way there is a love triangle. Luo Zishang has a special affection for Liu Yuru, a gratitude, because in the past, when they were teenagers, she treated him with tenderness. Gave him an umbrella and an osmantus cake. (In the book there is even a poetic passage that talks about "the osmantus cake that touches his heart, and if it weren't for the betrayal of fate, the two of them would face the world together". I remember scenes in the book where Luo Zishang, in the midst of his schemes, still finds time to save Liu Yuru. (But…that's not the focus, although there are a significant amount of scenes in the book about that). And Luo Zishang from the moment he believes he has paid his debt to Liu Yuru, he indulges in his stratagems (which are actually related to his father), and with Gu Jiu Si, there is a scene in the book, where the two come together in a moment to vanquish a common enemy. (I don't know anymore as I couldn't read the book any further, for over a hundred chapters.). The story of Luo Zi Shan is filled with the tragedies and abandonment he suffered from his family. He looks like the villain, but in the end he's more of a victim. This character appears in the final third of the book, but he is a very nuanced character. So it's interesting to bring him to the beginning of the story and highlight him, because he is more interesting than the other characters that could appear as the second male. PS: Even in the book he emphasizes the similar eyes of the two boys. (As if they were faces in a mirror.). And Gu Jiu Si was the kind of person that Luo Zi Shang would be but fate turned around.
Episode 6: In this episode there was the deepest conversation between the protagonist couple. This time Yu Ru learned some truths from her husband Gu Jiu Si (When he says that men and women, above all, are human beings, with difficulties, with dreams, and goals. Here he teaches her something valuable. But it's sad that he even mentions divorce (he still needs to understand that they belong together, that he needs her and she needs him.) It was funny the disconcerted look she got when hearing such wise words from him, which she herself had not realized yet. He also gave a disconcerted look when she explained to him that Ye Shian is not smarter than him, but a hard worker, and that in one night he wouldn't be able to memorize a book like Gu Jiu Si managed. The setting of this drama is so fantastic, I feel like I'm in another era, it's very real. I loved the part where she walks into the accountants' room and she watches them do math with abacuses. Yu Ru trying to save the bankrupt merchant of his fabric shop, to the point of putting her property as insurance for him, was so touching. Gu Jiu Si and his mother watched this moment from behind the curtain and showed admiring glances. I love the emotional, psychological growth, the mutual learning of the protagonist couple. It's really refreshing to watch.
Liu Xue Yi does look like a different person in here. His face seems fuller; cheeks aren't as hollow and lost…
It's the same full-faced appearance as his in "Love and Redemption" (Hao Chen/ havenly emperor), and the drama "The destiny of white snake" (Zhan Huang/Demon Lord). His face is naturally full, but in "Love at night" (Mo ling Ze) and also "Blood of Youth" (Wuxin), he is thinner and looks a little different. In both ways I think he's so beautiful. His features are always striking. There is a fantasy drama he is filming now (In Blossom, character Pan Yue), with Ju Jing Yi, in which he is thin again, a face with a hairstyle and costume that highlights his beauty much more. He has a masculine beauty, but with a softness and vulnerability in his eyes.
I loved first two episode. story's speed is really good. Not so fast or slow! Seeing blood of youth actors who…
I love Hao Chen/ Heavenly Emperor from Liu Xue Yi in Love and Redemption. His Chinese fans and I miss that character so much. (An invincible nobility exists in that character, despite being a villain). And now we have the chance to almost reprise him, but here (there is a more emotional context and deeper in the heart of the character, so we can feel his pain, even though he is a villain we can immediately empathize with him. (I read it in the book a bit, I know.) I already love this character. And I love it the most because Liu Xue Yi is playing him.
