I 100% agree with you. The manga and drama (or movie is adapted) doesn't need to be the same all of the time. It can't be helped when I, someone who hasn't read the damn manga, doesn't know the full backstory of the, well, story.
To sum this drama up in seven words: two troubled souls find themselves brought together. Edit: I absolutely LOVED this drama. Might be one of my favourites in 2024, actually. rofl
