I'm somewhat comparing it to another Chinese drama called Guardian, which is also a BL novel turned bromance drama, sadly. I haven't watched the whole thing yet; I'm on episode nine, so I'm pretty much hating myself for reading a lot of spoilers. But alas, I clicked on the Reveal Spoiler button and I got what I wanted for it.
