Honestly? It wouldn't be surprising if this were based on a real story; people in this world are SO fucked up, I'm not even offended or surprised at the storyline. Just because it isn't a happy or bad ending per se(it's a mixture. Just my opinion, don't get mad at me) doesn't mean that it's a bad story or drama. It just has its odds and ends that needed to be overlooked for the entire storyline to take place. I enjoyed it, even if it were silly here and there, but alas, I can't be a judge of what the director had in mind since I'm not a director or a filmmaker myself.
Also, I liked this season more than season one. I also enjoyed season two a lot more than season one. It might be because I'm a fucked up person in general but eh, sappy endings isn't always for me.
It's the same with The Effect. That drama has a rape scene.Edit: It wasn't cancelled.
Rape is indeed horrible and something nobody should do to others or go through. I, for one, was raped by my cousin. So, if this isn't something coming from someone who knows what happens to your mental state afterward... yeah. Not a thing to romanticize at all.
The one thing that I truly hated about this series is the parents basically letting Pai eat breakfast on his own 100% of the time from the start of the series. I detest them for that. One of the reasons that truly pissed me off is exactly that. Yes, it was a good ending at the end of the series but goddamn it, the fact that it took the parents at the end of the series to just sit down and actually talk to him and say that they should be 100% open with each other right then and not sooner?! I'm SO pissed. UGH.
Itt's a tsundere little shit while Pai is a docile little shit. Their relationship made me want to slam their faces together while screaming, "HE LIKES YOU!" as loud as I could. I'm happy that they're now FINALLY happy together. No more drama, please. Use your mouth and such, YOU CAN SPEAK YOUR THOUGHTS; YOU TWO AREN'T MUTE.
Pure and Folk... friends with benefits turned boyfriends. See, I'm chill with these two(as long as Folk stays away from Pai, we're chill).
Waan and Beau is an extremely adorable couple and I want to shove my face in a bundle of kitties from the sweetness they're both pouring out of them.
