No problem! In terms of romance with a general as a ML and a smart FL, Blossom is also a really good option if you aren't as into The Prisoner of Beauty as much. I haven't finished it yet but it's really lovely, although less battle scenes, but a decent amount of action nonetheless!

In terms of fighting scenes, I highly recommend The Prisoner of Beauty, if you haven't watched it. I love action myself and that show really drew me in with it's battle scenes.

Yet, he truly cares for her and deep down, he trusts her, and is willing to give her time even in his hurt.

Agreed! Misunderstanding hurts my heart so bad but there was no way there wouldn't be one at one point considering their current relationship and the events of the past. As someone with a background in writing, I was a little confused why she would say yes to having delayed reinforcements when she didn't but I have also recently heard that perhaps that was a mistranslation, so that's something interesting to ponder as well! I am so excited to see the growth of their romance after this misunderstanding though (I know the yearning from Xiao Jue is going to be so good).

I am surprised by how many people don't like it as well, although everyone enjoys different things! I haven't read the novel myself so can't say anything about how much it matches but personally, I am loving the drama. I adore the action scenes and the chemistry is so good it has me waking up early to watch the next episodes before work each day. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. There are certainly things that I can point out but it is so good regardless and it is one of my favorites to air this year.

Yeah, it's understandably a bit confusing, since she said yes when Xiao Jue asked even though she didn't. To my understanding, she sent aid as soon as she received the letter about reinforcements but since the letter was delayed, the reinforcements were as well, unbeknownst to her
