Title Gyeongseong Creature Spoiler
I don't wanna think for myself lol...any interpretation of the very last scene with Park Seojoon?? đŸ‘€
This was the question I wanted to ask. I've seen comments that the setting may be 80s-modern. Actually, the 80s may be a great period to experiment with something similar ...

I'm curious why his name is Ho Jae now ... Maybe a reincarnation or a new character ... Let's hope there is a S2! I will turn-in for it!

Points that I disliked. The Ikomahis introduction was a waste of time, every time it was in a scene it went nowhere,…
They really didn't do anything of note with the Ikomahis storyline ... I guess it allowed Saya to have an open ending ...

I was originally all for Saya's greyness, but couldn't understand or rationalize why he killed Roddip ...

Haha your mention of the "maybe dead" trope made me laugh. It was striking to me how many people they "brought" back from the dead. I'm probably alone in saying that I thought Yangcha, Saya, and Tanya could have all stayed dead, and it would have been a better, more impactful story.

Thank you for your review!

I agree that the world-building is interesting. The different races, tribes the lore it all goes well together.…
I agree. This second season is far from perfect. If season two focused on the plot points it started in season one, the ending would have been a lot cleaner.

Okay, the ending of ep 4 got me interested. Will have to wait till next week, it seems.
On The Interest of Love Jan 5, 2023
The cliffhanger for episode six was brutal!!!! How am I supposed to wait for a week for his reasoning???

Honestly, I am actually having a lot of fun with this drama. Our lead couple is sooo frustrating, but I am intrigued by our two couples and how the actors choose to portray their characters. I like that they are trying something a bit different. Having fun rooting for this hopeless lead couple XD
I am so here for season 2 of Alchemy of Souls. After watching ep 2, I find Go Yoon Jung so charming as Naksu. I admit I was initially disappointed when it was announced that Jung So Min was not going to return as a main character, but seeing Yoon Jung in the role of Naksu, makes sense for now. She is absolutely delightful and I am here for the hijinks.

Title Yumi's Cells Season 2 Spoiler
The cells make this drama so charming even in the midst of Yumi's angst. Excited for eps 11 and 12 next week. This new setup is intriguing. I am such a sucker for Woong's Love Cell ^^

This is such a fun drama. I feel like it blends comedy and intrigue really well so far. Looking forward to more of my questions being answered. I really appreciate that it doesn't take itself too seriously and leaves ample room to laugh at itself.

Not crazy about the pilot, but ep 2 looks more promising. I find the bad guys particularly cartoony. Hoping the directing evens out and smooths over some of the red flags present in this pilot. I have a lot of hope for Seo Ye Ji to drive an interesting and complex character story in this.

I enjoy this kind of mid passed drama, so it wasn't draggy at all to me. Maybe it's just not to your taste, it's…
I do usually like slow burns. I just had a few additional issues with some of the storytelling and choices this drama took. I finished the drama just barely, and enjoyed the last 5 minutes. I enjoyed how it decided to close ^^

I am reading through all the comments singing this drama praises on how moving and powerful it is ...

Am I the only one that is struggling to get through the finale? Since last week for me, it's been pretty draggy and unnecessary? Maybe I'm completely missing something?

Title Melancholia
Happy to be finished with ep 15, since this reminds me that the finale is tomorrow. I will be relieved once I finish this one. I have grown tired of Melancholia. To me, it's a fairly formulaic wealthy parent, school corruption plot. I would say it's vaguely similar to Penthouse and Sky Castle. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the maddening chaos of Penthouse that kept me watching at least to the end of season 2. Nor does it have enticing character stories like Sky Castle. I just find myself bored with a lingering meh feeling ...

Am I the only one puzzled by the finale? It felt rushed and a bit meaningless. Maybe that was the point they were trying to drive home.

Title Chimera Spoiler
I have really appreciated the loose ties to greek mythology in this drama. Up till now, the drama has focused…
Oh, you make a good point. I should probably go back and try to find the actual clip. You are probably right about Cerberus being the doctor. I guess I was just trying to react to the news that Chimera is actually Kim Hyo Kyung at the end of ep 14. The comment around Chimera spitting fire and the contrast that Lee Joong Yeop typically uses water stuck in my head. Additionally, the lines around Cerberus seemed to make it seem like he was a victim to his own circumstances. For some reason, I feel like Jae Hwan is always the most innocent and good-natured and a bit clueless compared to the other three. Yet now that I try to recall, maybe the line was about all four of them?

Even watching ep 14, I kept shuffling around who I thought Cerberus was. I'll be interested to see who aligns with who. It's fun to speculate.

Ep 14 spoiler and questions about the Chimera’s final week
I have really appreciated the loose ties to greek mythology in this drama. Up till now, the drama has focused on chimera. With ep 14 revealing both chimera of 1984 and today, and introducing cerberus and hinting at his three siblings. Who are the others?
If Cha Jae Hwan is Cerberus, Lee Joong Yeop is the Hydra with his use of water. Who is the last? Eugene Hathaway as Orthrus the two headed dog? Who is she anyway?
