Okay, when I’m ready to bite the bullet and take the plunge I will certainly let you know. If I give up at ep ten, please don’t kill me ... hahaha
Prison Playbook has a slower pace. I personally found the first two episodes harder to get into ... Yet I would recommend sticking it out till at least ep 3 ... That should give you sufficient time to know whether sticking with it is your thing or not. If you want to marathon something I wouldn’t recommend this one ... save this when you want to dig in a little bit. Yet I do know a few people that had no trouble.

Falling for Innocence got me back into watching dramas after almost 3 years of a break, so I may have a soft spot for it. Nor can I fight the Jung Kyung Ho and Yoon Hyun Min reunion. I'm a mess... Reception for this one is very mixed ... so I'm a little worried you're going to hate it haha >___< Yet I think Jung Kyung Ho is the reason to watch this one, since I don't typically see range like that in dramas ... Only thing I can think of is Kill Me, Heal Me.

My thoughts on endings:
Cruel City: I honestly liked the tease at an open ending. Did you read the "alternative" ending that is floating around from maybe the original script? I would have hated that ending more!
The struggle I had with Jung Shi Hyun's death was that he died so suddenly. We spent the whole series defeating death over and over again. Safari and Soo had times to give there last lengthy speeches that seems to last minutes and minutes, but Shi Hyun's barely got a couple words out ... I just wish they could have given the super human Doctor's Son a more believable death, but then again maybe that was what they were trying to go for. Overall, it's still one of my favorites. I don't typically like tragic endings but this one I was more at peace with.
Just Between Lovers: The last episodes 14, 15 and 16 were a little ridiculous. I was glad they contained the angst mostly to episode 15. The last 10 min of Episode 16 didn't seem to fit with the drama. Talk about Deus ex Machina ending ... sheesh ... All drama logic flies out the window. The drama got a little muddied in the middle ... I love Jun Ho in this drama though. I think it had a lot of untapped potential.
Save Me: Did you think Save Me's ending was not consistent with the entire drama's tone and story?
Chicago Typewriter: I hate what they did with the modern day couple ... I was completely unmoved by the modern storyline. I spent the entire drama waiting for them to return to the 30s timeline ... Modern day characters, I considered them support characters ... I'm horrible.
Speaking of endings, I can't think of any drama were I'm 100% satisfied with the ending. My expectations are apparently too high maybe ...

haha! Trying to turn things around in 2018 and be a little more objective, but my 10 rating only goes to my most favorite dramas. So that in itself is completely bias related haha! What is typically your base score? I recalibrated the beginning of this year to have base be 7, a decent drama, that I personally would not recommend. We'll see how long that rating scale will last haha >__<
I want to say I care about acting, but then for a while my favorite actor was Lee Jong Suk. I have now seen the light in my ways haha. Yet my favorite of his was always the most flawed ... We've talked about Doctor Stranger a few times in the past ... I'm just irritated that he plays the same character over and over and over again. Maybe I'm being unfair ...
I really need to take the time to have an in depth conversation with you in regards to drama endings ... Since I feel like I can't do that well in the feeds or on review ^^ Most recently Cruel City and Just Between Lovers come to mind ^^

I feel like a fairly forgiving person when it comes to dramas ... I will choose to overlook a lot if there is consistent tone and pacing and good character development.

For those looking for something to fill the void that Money Flower left, Misty might just be the ticket.
Go Hye Ran has an amazing charisma that pulls in her viewers to appreciate her confidence and ruthlessness. Misty’s strengths lie in its ability to create multilayered characters with fleshed out histories and motives. At the same time, this drama is quickly lining up an intricate and complex murder mystery that finds Hye Ran the lead suspect.
I can’t speak to the future of this drama, but so far I am so excited the possibilities that this drama could deliver on ^^
