I wholeheartedly agree. This drama gives a unique vibe as you keep watching (exactly what I look for when i start…
That’s sooooo true! The vignettes and story lines of all the supporting characters really makes this drama! I can’t think of a drama that is able to manage this so adeptly.
I agree the pilot was a little difficult to jump into. Honestly, I had trouble until cell 2-6 was introduced in…
I feel like this one just takes a minute to adjust to the pacing. The drama sets the tone and the viewer is forced to adjust accordingly. The viewer either adjusts to love it or maybe ultimately drops it? ... I haven’t personally seen a lot of people drop it though ... haha I sucks everyone in eventually maybe?
I agree! This drama is amazing. The only bad thing is that we have to wait so long for the episodes to get subbed.
Waiting for subs is the worst ... I guess I should have planned better. I nearly died waiting for episodes 11 & 12 to be subbed ... Need to watch 12 this weekend ^^
OMG!!!!! What’s going to happen next week?!!!!! ep 16 spoilers ~
Was anyone else dying when Kang Pil Joo was unconscious for half an episode ... the story really drags when I can’t hear Jang Hyuk’s dialogue ... How he stresses certain words is just like music to my ears!!!!!
I am actually loving how Jang Boo Cheon and Na Mo Hyun are starting to put things together bit by bit. Actually in episode 16, I was really blown away by some of Boo Cheon’s scenes ... His expressions just stick with me.
I could listen to Kang Pil Joo talk all day long! The purpose and pause he gives in all his exchanges are soooooo incredibly powerful. It gives me chills!
okay guys i only watched the first episode and i couldnt love it and i am considering to drop it.are the next…
I personally wasn’t sold until ep 3. This series does take a while to really start feeling the pacing and the characters. The pilot was real hit or miss.
I think most people are intimidated by the episode length of 90 minutes each. The drama has more of a slice of life / laid back pacing. The comedy, the characters and their relationships are what sell this drama.
Speaking from my personal experience, I was sold from episode 3. It usually takes me a few days to finish each episode, but they are so worth it! Not many dramas have the ability to make me laugh so hardily. The humor is offbeat and quirky, so I do realize this won’t be for everyone.
Looking to pick up some of the ones that Sato Takeru is already slated for ^^
So the ones I’m most interested in are Inuyashiki, Funouhan and Kids on the Slope!
