Qing Lang bites Chang Yang's lip in a foreign hotel room, awakens his sexuality, sends him spiralling through QL's film catalogue especially the sex scenes to get an education then CY lays the way to entice QL to Molie. Hao Yu is at the point he has to decide which way he wants to go, and he chooses to save his relationship with Han Lu, his path, and the time, diverging from the path Yu Hao took.

The video is footage of Qing Lang having a breakdown after filming an emotional scene and turning to Shi Yu Hao for comfort and support but Yu Hao just stands and smokes a cigarette nearly burning Qing Lang while people around yell at YH for his callousness. We don’t get to see that but the livestream QL reminds YH of in the bridge scene in I think it’s ep 2 is available if you are a member of the YouTube group.

How maddening is it when you are trying to sleep and someone in the neighbourhood is having a party with loud music but all you can hear is that doof doof beat of the drum. Not the actual song, just the low beat of the drum that jangles the nerves. Torture! No sleep!

But think about the numerous indigenous peoples across the world who used drums or some type of percussion instrument for rituals, spiritual or other. How many used them to beat out tattoos (a sort of verse), maybe to call on spiritual ancestors to accompany them before attacking an enemy and how that repetitive, relentless beat would put fear into that enemy only to be replaced by a greater torture when the drumming stopped!
